Honestly, I think Aquiles vs Chiron or Kirei's fights deserve higher placement. Yeah, Salter's fights look cooler but they're "short" when it comes to actual fighting. The choreography of a fight is the main and hardest factor to show and Chiron and Kirei do show incredible moves that not everyone appreciate.

Yea there are some other fights that should definitely be on this list, but they aren't big flashy light shows that makes a big boom only for the smoke to clear and show that almost nothing have changed or the person missed.

Personally my favorite is sieg vs karna. Yes the plot armor is thick and the animation isn’t up to the Salter fights, but MAN is the music and dialogue between the two just absolutely amazing. Karna asking for Siegs name, the respect the two have for each other, and when sieg using his command spell to “grant him the victory that comes with freedom”. It really makes you feel like they are ACTUALLY heroic spirits as opposed to just servants forced to commit underhanded tactics for a master. Honestly I feel like that was what apocraphya did the best of all of them was make the servants more independent and able to achieve their goals where other fate shows usually allow this for a few of them but overall discount the servants in exchange for the masters.

I find that most of fate apo/ Fate grand order / Extra are just a bunch of explosion and loud noises. Even fist fights. I would probably put most of heaven's feel, unlimited blade works, fate zero or even (Dare i say) the original fate before most of the fights in apo/grand order/extra. Then again, there IS some that are good. But they are the exception. I feel it all come down to artistic direction. Ufotable does it way better then any other. Plus i feel like the fate (Series), since the original cast, has lost something. Fate apo/grand order/extra and all of this never felt like fate.

Well, Salter vs. Berserker and Salter vs. Rider were a bunch of explosions and loud noises too. Babylonia fights, for all the pantyshot fanservice, at least seemed more logical in terms of choreography and waaaay more dynamic than HF fights with their overuse of slowmo and flashy booms in an attempt to compensate for the lack of action. After amazing Zero and UBW fights, HF was quite a disappointment.

I would replace Karna vs Sieg with either Quetzalcoatl vs everyone or and especially Semiramis vs Mordred. Definitely the most underrated fight imo is Semi vs Mord, a good honorable mention is Saber vs Berserker in FSN and Atlanta vs Jeanne with the sheer intensity of those two fights

@@chalayan thank you! Type Moon has made so many different Fate franchise parallels stories that I can’t follow the happenings or whereabouts of the main characters. After the end of UBW I don’t know what happened to Rin or to Shirou Emiya (please have mercy if I have misspelled the name). The connection from Fate Zero to UBW it’s clear and the time connection it’s almost immediate to understand but I can’t place the happenings of Heaven’s Feel 3 movies I don’t understand when they happen and how it fits with UBW.

@@chalayan What I find a bit frustrating it’s the all Fate Grand Order, Fate Apocrypha, Ilya Prisma sections, they are all completely separated from the main Fate storyline. Honestly I don’t like Sakura, I find her character boring and overly attached/clingy on Shirou Emiya. I had difficulty in watching Heaven’s Feel 3 movies. I know that they explain more about Sakura’s background and the hidden/untold part of her life and character, that’s just marginal in the UBW part, but something on Heaven’s Feel it’s extremely disturbing and differently from UBW the depressing and self destructive atmosphere it’s excessive and saturates the entire 3 movies, plus the scene with Sakura and Shirou (I mean “THE SCENE”) left me pretty uncomfortable: Sakura has been subjected to physical, sexual and psychological continuous abuses, she needs to undergo a rehabilitation treatment before having that kind of interaction with someone, plus both are underage and Sakura it’s emotionally dependent from Shirou, he’s her only male figure that’s kind and doesn’t want something from her, he never raise his voice with her and always worry for her health or her worries so she’s not ready to be involved with him in that way because he’s her last hope to which she will always hang on, this cause Sakura to be emotionally dependent and unable to really understand the meaning of love in a relationship, add to that factor that Sakura can’t (due to her situation) make a choice rationally due to all the emotional problems she has she can’t understand her own feelings or emotional bond with the opposite sex. She’s broken inside and she needs to rebuild herself and her own psychological and emotional balance before being able to get involved into a relationship that involves “that”.
