I've always loved the look of those cleavers since I've seen one on AlmazanKitchen channel. One of the best additions to my cooking gear would be a typical welders type wire brush. Instead of getting the tip and edge of a knife to scrape and cut away the crust off a jaffle in a jaffle iron, go it with a wire brush. It gets right in there and cleans the edges of the iron for way easier extraction of the jaffle.

No need to worry about the knife sharpener, as long as your car has windows that go down, you're good to go. Use the top/spine of the window and run your blades along it, do it dry, and then do it wet if need be for a finer finish.

Why spun steal over cast iron ? I think I've used it couple times years ago and I found everything burnt every time with the steel over shorter times
@RawPatrol4 жыл бұрын
You can see that here with the vegies almost burning after 20 minutes. Cast iron retains and modulates heat better. That's not to say you can't get great results with spun steel, but you need to manage the heat. I think the advantage of SS is mainly weight.
@joshaddis14 жыл бұрын
@@RawPatrol thanks mate I'll stick with the cast iron at the end of the day I love cooking and while I'm camping I don't have anything else too important going on except for drinking and fishing so I have more then enough time to prep and be well organised with the fire and cast iron cooking I'll allocate the weight

Not being smart. But what's your preference in a fire restriction. I've done roasts in a Hillbilly camp oven with a ring burner, works fine just slow.
@firetofork4 жыл бұрын
Where I live we almost never have restrictions, and if it’s hot and dry enough to need them I tend not to go camping. But if I do have to go I use my Biolite stove which is fine in many areas. Or I’ll borrow a gas burner because I don’t own one.
