I love playing football and hate it too! My tight end drills also I hate because every linebacker weather they are outside or inside is 150 lbs and can bench 120 and were all in eighth grade! But I can manage but I would definitely recommend getting a backplate, binky mouthguard, turf tape (for yo ankels) and a rib protector. They are life savers and rob savers

Game Fool try lineman gloves, once you try them it’ll change your life. I’m a tight end, and I always wore receiver gloves, but I found some nice Nike lineman gloves with the sticky padding like receiver gloves.

Aj Koukou they’re like D-tack 5.0’s I think. They have a pad on the palm whereas the super bads don’t. I’m more of a blocking TE (think like a H back in a single wing or H-back set) rather than a receiving tight end, so I like the pad. If you play strictly O line or interior D line you can’t go wrong with cutters. If you play D end/OLB/Nickel or tight end superbads or padded receiver gloves are your best bet.
