Little story time of Gunnar, my father knew the guy personally, he’s Norwegian btw and the measurements is true around his forearm, he was a shy guy at the stage my father told me so he always drank before going up there ( he was probably just a alcoholic) his excuse was something with oh drinking makes your muscle look bigger or something like that, he really had massive forearms.
@mathieujolliff9514 жыл бұрын
Cool vid. Forearms are my favourite bodypart to train. Since I was a teenager I was always trying to get forearms and a strong grip like my father and my uncle. It takes more to develop them because you’re using your hands all the time so you need high volume in order to get those muscles to respond but that burn and pump feels great
@corvairkid174 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I call it "mechanic-strong". I was always jelly of people's thick forearms. If your family has it, hopefully you catch the gene.
@mathieujolliff9514 жыл бұрын
PizzaMan 5000 Yeah man! I’m genetically an ectomorph, my musculature is on the slim side but my forearms do get nice and beast with the workout and beating I give them. Over the years I’ve gotten nice compliments and raves about them and women love touching them. I think they stand out a little more because I’m tall and my arms are so long but even if no one paid any attention to them I’d still work them like a madman, I personally just love the look and feel of thick strong forearms
It really does make sense why he was called the Myth. The photos from his prime are just mind boggling. The tiny waist, huge v-taper, the arms...just mythic proportions

Lee Priest’s arms it’s difficult to comprehend. It’s like the details in Ronnie’s back which seemed to have details and muscles not on an anatomy chart. Lee’s arms just don’t make sense. The muscle bellies seem to go past the joints 😂😂 bear arms ever and he might hold that title forever
@CC-be3ko4 жыл бұрын
Well, Roelly's arms are better. Lee is a little bir better in the biceps and forearms, but Roelly has better triceps and destroys Lee in delts. In front poses they are very close, but in the sides Winklaar wins hands down (specially in the side chest).
@CC-be3ko4 жыл бұрын

Yeah, Lee had the best ARMS period, including the best bis, best tris, & best forearms. Not to mention a world class set of abs. He's right up there with Oliva for most genetically gifted BBer of all time (other than the fact that he is 5'4'', while competing in an era of mass monsters).
@CC-be3ko4 жыл бұрын
@@rickbrenner6079 The best forearms yes, but biceps and triceps not. And he's not even close to be the most genetically gifted bber. Jay, Phil,Ronnie, Kai, Levrone, Martinez, Dexter, Dorian, Flex would smoke him.
@SkrimpKing4 жыл бұрын
@@CC-be3ko Just because some of those guys would be him doesn't mean they are more genetically gifted though. Anyone can gain size, no one can change their proportions and insertions. It's all subjective anyway because what someone sees as perfect, another might see as many inferior. I agree with a few names you mentioned that would rival Lee. Mainly Phil, Ronnie and Flex. But not Jay or Kai really. Yes they were big mass monsters but Jay didn't have better muscle insertions or proportions and had a huge waist and blocky look. Still one of the best obviously, since he won the Mr.O title.

Depending on how low your extensors hang, they can actually change how thick your forearms look from the front. It's not very often you find people with godlike forearm insertions, let alone specifically the Extensors. But a prime example is Ramon Dino, his brachioradialis, flexors, and extensors basically all insert from the wrist up, kinda insane

Hands down, Lee Priest not only had the best forearms in history, but the entire arm was a one of the best, with great proportions, and muscle bellies. In fact I think Lee Priest had one of the best bodybuilding bodies ever. When you look at Priest, you don't look at him and say tat he just took a boat load of drugs to get that way. You see a guy that took some drugs, but relied heavily on eating right, and training like a man possessed. Lee had the same type look as a Mike Mentzer, with a few better body parts. You look at some of the guys who won the olympia, and compare them to their olympia days, the first thing you say, is it was all drugs that built him. Where when you saw Lee priest when he competed, you saw power and athleticism, and today you see the same thing. Not to the degree of years ago,naturally, but for a guy that is away from competing, and away from the large amounts of drugs, He still has a body that men would say they would want at his age or younger. If I had 1 guy to be built like, It would probably be priest. Powerful and somewhat Athletic. Big but not muscle bound. Good Video
