Another great list Dallas. Green Irish Tweed, Aventus and especially Royal Oud are my favorites from this list. Agree that BDC is better formally vs. casual. Royal Oud is my favorite frag period at the moment.

Great review my friend. I have AdG profumo, dior homme intense, GIT, Bleu de Chanel, Aventus and Royal Oud. Also Prada l homme, similar to Dior homme eau. Do not know the other although I am interested in the MFK baccarat, but it is too expensive. I would have added to the list TF oud wood. Keep the awesome work.

My favorite formal scent was the original Chanel ÉGOÏSTE pour homme. (not Platinum) When I heard it was getting discontinued I bought a bunch of back ups. I haven't worn my Baccarat Rouge 540 often but I'm going to have to now. Royal Oud is great too.

A very good list. I do like to wear gentler ouds on formal ocassions, and I'd recommend Acqua Di Parma Coloniza Essenza Oud, and Indonesian Oud by Zegna.

Best under $30.00 formal cologne for me is Uomo Ermenegildo Zenga. Beautifully crisp, clean and conservatively sweet. I had only a sample of it and I was baffled when I saw it for $19.99, not to mention it lasts on me for 6-7 hours. Hands down best cheapie I've come across

Aventus & Royal Oud (especially in cool, cold, windy weather) are both excellent choices for special occasions. One that I would add that works great for me is Tom Ford Oud Wood.

You have some weird prices over there in the US - or we do in Romania. Don't know which. You said Dior Homme Eau is cheaper than Prada L'Homme. Well, I got a 100 ml bottle of L'Homme for 55 $, while the DHE is 90 $ for the same quantity.

I'm starting my autumn line up buys I throw you some of my bangers Intense cafe montale ...mega complements when I wore the sample ha! Ombre nior by lalique smells almost Like D&G the one with cinnamon & Grand sior at some point might be more of a dating frag being so lux. And I'm really trying to find some good incense frags I come to really like that note if you know any let me know ...
