I struggle to find fragrances for warm weather. I don't care much for aquatic, citrus, uber clean fragrances. I usually do rose or white floralish fragrances for summer. I just got Amouage Opus I, Eau de Shalimar and Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee for spring/summer. I will likely also be wearing Femme Rochas, Boudoir by Vivian Westwood, Givenchys Organza, CH 212 Sexy, YSL Manifesto. I will also be sampling Amouage Opus IX, I think it will work better for me in the heat. I heard a review on pulp that said it smelled like rotten fruit, but if it's a green affair, I may try to sample it...I am looking for a green fragrance...green...not powdery green, not floral green, just green...not so simple that it smells like grass (Daisy) but interesting, complex and green! I might try to sample Ninfeo Mio too.

Pulp is great! It's very different to anything I've smelled before. The fig isn't super prominent like in Ninfeo Mio and there are lots of other things going on. I adore it. Lovely for summer! Opus IX for summer? hmm...I guess so, it's quite animalic though. But lots of Jasmine too. Oh gosh I just LOVE that one!

Very mice Summer collection! Turns out that I just bought L'imperatrice and Stella online. So I can't wait to wear them this Summer and all year round why not! :) It's so hot in my country! Terracotta is definitely on my try-list and so are the Annick Goutal and Dominique Roupion fragrances and Pure Poison by Dior. Ciao! Merci!

Three Cheers for White Florals!!! I love citrus, eau de cologne scents, but it's also all about the flowers and the herbals when the sun shines. as you said. Also the fruits, when I can find those which I enjoy (Escape Tropical Punch, Lily Prune Fruity Musk etc.) Good List, Thomas.

Definitely noting down L'imperatrice, Do Son, Pure Poison, and Pulp. :) Have been circulating a few summer worthy fragrances like Hermes' Un Jardin Sur le Toit, Miu Miu's L'eau Rosee, YSL's Manifesto, Amouage's Epic Woman, Tom Ford's Bitter Peach, Dior's Tendre Poison, and Miason Margiela's Whispers in the Library . I wear these because most of them are light and airy or have a green refreshing note.

Hmmm it's tough because most of the time vanilla is warm kinda ya know? The coolest vanilla I have smelled it "The Acrchitects Club" by Arquiste. It's a colder transparent simple vanilla. Hope that helps!

Great top 10! I think. i'm going to wear in summer L'ea d'Hadrien, Untitled, Mojave Ghost, Blanche, Olene, Peau de Peche, Fleur d'Oranger, Bronze Goddess and Sensuous, when it's getting warmer in Scandinavia. In rainy days I like to spritz Lipstick Rose, En Passant or Arabie.

Thankkkkkks! I used to have Philosykos too. I loved it but I found it to be just outside the realm of "fragrance" I just thought it was SO natural that it was more like an atmosphere spray. VERY cool fragrance though. :)

This is a great list! One of my staple summer frags is the Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort (the original, not the one that's being released this year that confusingly has the same name). It's sort of an aquatic fruity floral, but the main fruit is fig so it's very unique. But it has that same vibe as L'imperatrice, which I also love.

Terracotta le Parfum is one of my all time favorite fragrances! I need to buy a back up bottle of it because OMG I love it!! Fleur d'Oranger is such a beautiful fragrance as well. Love the floral with the cumin! All together great picks! I do love White Florals in the heat (and its always hot here..... :( )

Interesting picks! Great suggestions to try. As I've mentioned before I've been cultivating my hot weather selection. Where I live, summer temps soar above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It's awful. 😥 I have embraced florals for this season. A genre that I wrote off as not for me. I did recently try Pure Poison but it didn't impress me enough to part with my money. I would most definitely wear Crystal Noir EDP in summer but lightly as it's very strong. It's another white floral/coconutty type smell and it's fresh so it will work fore sure. Paris? Hmm I'm not so sure..I wouldn't cal it a summer fragrance but why not?? Anything really can be worn in any season if it's worn properly.

STELLA!!! It was my signature for such a long time that I couldn't possibly choose Terracotta over it. Stella is gorgeous in summer as it's a crisp clean icy rose/peony kinda thing. Lovely!

Your suggestions are great! Another great summer frag (you'd like it) is Kiehl's Musk. I hate hot weather, sick and tired of it. My favourite weather would be like winter in Manchester! You need to try these - La Fille de Berlin and Eau de Protection. Also, need your suggestion for a summer fragrance - can't decide between Fleur d'Oranger (Lutens) and Seville a L'Aube. Thoughts?

Yes, Berlin is the rosy one! So is Eau de Protection, but it is more abstract. These are the best specimens of their type, and I imagine you liking them a lot - very unisex, good sillage and duration, and quality all around. That's why the suggestion! :)

OMG... That's exactly the type of video that I was looking for. And I have one suggestion to you: Mojave Ghost - Byredo Have you tried it already? I've received a lot of suggestions for using this fragrance on a hot day, and the notes seems pretty unusual but delightful to be used on this type of weather.

I love Clean Rain Reserve for warm weather. It's very wet, clean, androgynous, but kind of dirty at the same time - and I would say unexpected. I also just tried Narciso's Fleur Musc and I love how tart it is - great for when it's hot as well.

I think I may have smelled the fluer musc rapidly while running to catch a flight in India..kinda like a smell-and-dash kinda thing because I spotted it. It was lovely!!! Need to smell it when i have more time though haha.

I adore Narciso Rodriguez Narciso, but unfortunately I find it quite unpleasant in hot weather (for me it smells stifling, bitter, without its beautiful and soft floral character)... By the way, you can easily see how much is left: either with strong back light or by shaking it in a well lit room :)
