I generally wouldn't want to smell like a barbershop. But...one day I got a bottle of Sweet Tobacco by 18:21 Man Made. It is definitely a barbershop scent but really great for everyday/office. Well blended and masculine. About $80 retail for 3.4 oz.

Never heard of my slow burner....went on vacation to Italy and spent some time in Florence. Wandered into the Gutteridge shop and found their standard fragrance in a blue bottle...bought it but began to find it sharp on the nose so gave up wearing it...only to try it on again the following year...its a masculine fresh smell which Is ideal in warm weather...and very pleasant on the nose...very classy. Absolutely agree brotha!! It's funny because I've been collecting on and off probably for a good 20 years or so and one thing I've learned is that I always give a fragrance some time. Because as I get older or my nose matures and the scent macerates, my opinion often changes so now my rule of thumb is I always give a fragrance a good month MINIMUM before I form my opinion. Excellent video Justin. Continued success brotha

Awesome list, man! Lots of fragrances I haven't smelled yet, but I totally get the slow-burn idea. For me MFK Grand Soir took a bit of time. I'm not into sweet fragrances and on my hand it smelled too candied sweet. I still grabbed a decant so I could do a full wear and now I love it. Xerjoff Uden was another. It smelled generic, and it does smell generic at the opening, but it really transforms after about an hour into a rum cocktail. Very fun summer scent.

Two clones of Dior Farenheit are Mercedes Benz Intense (black bottle) for men and Azzaro Solarissimo Marettimo (blue bottle). In my opinion both of these go in slightly different directions than Farenheit, but are less cloying and lighter fragrances. They both have about 90% of the scent profile of Dior Farenheit. I prefer Marettimo over the other two.

My first slow burn and most important lesson on ,dont go by what you smell on paper was with Gucci Guilty absolute. I went to Sephora tried it on the strip and hated it. Next time I was there I decided to at least try it on skin because I kept hearing good things about it. @@stayfreshproductions I live in Miami and i love wearing it when its cooler or in the evenings. It really is a beautiful scent. every time I wear it', I get a different wearing experience. Sometimes i get more of the leather and other times more of the Patchouli. I dont find it to be so animalic and once it drys down its a beautiful scent trail.. Great concept for a video. There are several frags right now I'm just not getting but like you I'm giving them some time and coming back around to see if things change 👍 @gunnerfrags

Great video man, would you believe me if I said that I didn’t like creed Aventus at first it was a 2018 batch and they were known for being heavy on the Birch, then I revisited it back in 2019 and the most amazing pineapple note came forth and now I love it. It just depends on the batch for me I guess! And if you want you should look at my channel and give some good constructive criticism, trying to get my fragrance channel going and could use some constructive criticism🙏🏼

Great review as always, JC... my "slow burn" (and still burning🔥 lol) frag is Dylan Blue... "its a no for me, dawg"... lol I just struggle with it... soooooo gave it to my son... he wore it one day and I dug it on him... it smells better on others, i think😂🤣

You say people don't like your voice, but they jelly. Your voice is so soothing, so sexy. I love listening to your videos and you're easy on the eye as well.
