Cartographers! Correct its only 17.99. However, if you go to Gencon and go to the booth, you'll spend well of 100 bucks. Well, I did. Had to have all the the packs, and extras. lol

An underrated gem that’s available for cheap that I would recommend is Cubirds. Super fun and easy to teach set collection game that always goes over well and plays fast.

Great list. My two favorite inexpensive games are Fantasy Realms and Citadels. Those two always go with us on trips. We like them for their portability and they can play with high player counts.

Our family always enjoys Point Salad, Ohanami, Archaelogy: The New Expedition, Don't Mess with Cthulu, Targi, Draftosaurus, Jaipur, Onitama just to name a few. There are so many great games to choose from these days, and you're right, games are getting more expensive. But these kinds of lists help everyone stretch their dollars a little further!

Scout from Oink games. Will definitely be a stocking stuffer from me to my friends and family this Christmas. It’s such a great little card game that recently was nominated for Spiel des Jahres and it’s $23 right now on Amazon. Great list guys! I really enjoyed My City too and can’t wait for My Island 🏝

Great list. Other great games under $25 are Fort, Welcome To, Fantasy Realms, Hanabi, and the smaller versions of popular board games such as Pandemic Hot Zone.

My group Love's fantasy realms. We have come up with the house rule of laying out the discard pile so you can grab anything that's discarded.

Happy to see Similo on this list -- I've introduced it over the past few months to a range of people with success; my mom, friends and one of their 14 year old daughter; game group members -- it has gone over really well and I own most the sets. Now if I could just get my hands on the Essen promo set that was all board games!

The Super Skill Pinball series is a great buy at $24.99 or less. 3 games with 4 tables each and a christmas movie themed one with 3 tables is a good buy as well.

Bohnanza, Ten, Point Salad, Orchard, Kingdomino... just to name a few. There are SO many cheap options out there. You don't have to break the bank to get a good quality game with great replayability.

I have definitely found a couple games on this list I'm interested in but I have to disagree with sushi roll. I Love sushi go, I Love sushi go party, but I just could not enjoy sushi roll. Honestly I enjoy Point salad better than any of the sushi games.

I own My City and it's a fantastic game. If you enjoy playing with one other person you can even go through the Legacy version of the game twice since there are four boards. The non-Legacy "Eternal" version of the game is excellent as well. I picked the game up for about 45 CAD and I think it was worth it at that price, if you can get it for less that's even better.

I like Cryptid and Letter Jam for 25 and under. Cryptid is a logic induction game and peter jam is a limited communication word game.

For escape room value, Im' going Unlock! series. Almost all of them are nondestructive, so after you play you can give it to a friend or donate. Also the art is WAY awesome.

When Planted was $19.99 I couldn't believe my eyes. First of all the gameplay is just fantastic no matter the price point, but those components? All those wooden and plastic resources? Unreal. Still an insane value at $30, but it would have absolutely highlighted lists of games under $25 like this every day of the week if it was still $19.99.

Currently looking into budget options to start a collection. Right now I'm looking at Love Letter(which I'm really surprised didn't make this list) and Bohnanza which I played a long time ago and I like the idea of having something that is a pure form of a core design principle. Sadly some of the options mentioned here aren't really as available or affordable here in Australia.
