I loved those deep baggy nets… back in those days English football was still using the triangle bar nets, Serie A had the square nets that are standard now but they weren’t as tight… half the time nowadays the nets are so tight the ball bounces out… those ‘94 nets were so satisfying seeing them bulge…

He tried exactly the same shot a few minutes earlier.. besides, that trying was from a further point and Cordoba had saved it with difficulty, but, then he tried again and it became a golazo..moreover, he's one of the best long distance shooters. You better watch his goals on KZbin. you'll see almost all of them are from outside the box. He scored from the midfield ( exactly from central circle) in La Liga both for Real Madrid (against Osasuna) and for Barcelona (against Celta Vigo). He scored 310 goals during his career and most of them are outside the box.
