My favourite shirt is the 1990 . The one when Gazza wore and cried. I bought a replica and had it modified by having it tapered. Looks badass hahahaha

Fun fact: while my dad was playing for the boro youth squad, gazza was made to train with them which he wasn't very keen about. Gazza started acting up and was being rude to the youth squad. This caused my dad and the rest of the squad to pour lucozade into gazzas boots. Although he was angry he thought it was a laugh later on, so he later invited the youth squad backstage to an interview he had with Chris Evans on his TV show.

I am 59, my first England kit was the 1970-74 (pre Admeral kit) ... its the one England had (in its last days) when they drew 1-1 at Wembley and missed out on going to the 1974 World Cup ... its still my Top Kit.

I had the 1982 Admiral goalkeepers shirt. Wouldn't even fit my leg if I still had it. Got a couple of photos of me wearing it though. I hated the 2010 home shirt. The only one I ever threw away.

The 2002 is in my top 5. 1996 is a good one apart from... the collar curl. I dunno if you have the original or a later Umbro replica but the original suffered with horror collar curls.

The only issue I have with the 1998 kits is the paleness of the England badge. It looks too wishy washy. His name is Bernard Sumner. Peter Hook would love it that you called Bernard, the main one. 😂

Personally I’m not a fan of the central badge, much prefer it over the heart, and I hate England in all white, white shirt and blue shorts please, my favourite the admiral Keegan 1980 shirt

Yeah I see where you’re coming from, I liked the move away from blue around 15 years ago as it’s closer to our flag 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 But the ones with blue trim do look better
