My favourite Wes Anderson film by far is The Royal Tenenbaums; probably one of my favourite films of all time. The story is simple but so well executed and each character was given so much depth. My favourite Wes Anderson characters are the Tenenbaum children (Richie being my favourite), Dignan, Francis Whitman, Ned Plimpton, Suzy Bishop, Sam Shukusky, and Gustave H. I mainly miss the days of heavy collaboration with Owen Wilson.

Jason Schwartzman, all though he didn't act in Isle of Dogs, co-wrote it with Wes Anderson, Roman Coppola, and Kunich Komura. Meaning, he was in all, except Bottle Rocket, Royal Tannebaums, and Life Aquatic.

Not that his other characters aren't incredible, but Dignan is just so unique and special. I was so md through this whole video because not one character played by Jason Schwartzman was on it (like, come on, he's the best!!!) but then I was super happy because Max is the best character.....

Dignan is my favorite, but agreed that Max is definitely the best character. Royal is number 3.

Definitely switch #2 and #4. Aside from Max, Gustave is the best character Anderson's created

There are at least a dozen or so wonderful choices, but, in all honesty, how can Monsieur Gustave not be number one? He is so much more than simply a character, just like the Grand Budapest is so much more than simply a hotel.
