Nataku/Altron was always my favorite Gundam but was overshadowed by Gundams like Wing Zero, Epyon, and Deathschythe. But out of all the upgraded original 4 Gundams Altron was the only one that held its own against Wing Zero in the show and it wasn't even fully completed yet. And in the movie where Altron was fighting Wing Zero to a draw.

To be fair, only the Altron and Deathscythe Hell actually fight the Wing Zero. Duo was fighting in an incomplete Gundam against an unstable Wing Zero pilot. Wufei was also fighting in an incomplete Gundam while Zechs hadn't mastered the Zero system. In Endless Waltz, Heero is greatly holding back against Wufei.

Great list my brother! I cried a little bit watching this as it was one of my first tv shows growing up that i ever got into. As a little boy I had most of the the model figures until my family moved and they got lost in storage.

Good video, most people don’t understand the importance Wing was to Gundam in general, the original figures that came out in late 90’s early 2000’s are the absolute best and I have a good collection of them

Great list! I might make a case for sandrock to be higher on the list if the pilots aren’t attached to their gundams for the sake of review. I think Quatre is probably the biggest limitation Sandrock has because his pacifist nature means, even under duress, he’s unlikely to fully utilize Sandrock’s potential. Just a thought

Don't forget either that despite the lack of range and mobility for Sandrock, it had the strongest defense/Armor of all gundams surpassing everyone on the list. If it was pure physical defense, sandrock wins

I stopped watching after he put Sandrock at number 9 and didn't even mention the defensive capabilities of the suit. Just that it was slow and had less offensive power.

You didnt mention Wing Gundams biggest weakness. Its not dificult to notice in te show but If you watch any battle Wing Gundam is in you will notice it never fires the buster rifle more than 3 times. tat is because the Rifle can only hold enough power for 3 shots. It even saiys as much in its official stats. That poer comes at a cost. Luckily te zero dosent have that weakness as its buster rifel draws power directly from the suits reactor

This was a great list. It's interesting that you mentioned how awesome the Altron suit would be if it had the Zero system installed. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Wufei was the only pilot to master the Zero system with little difficulty. He definitely would have been a beast if he used it for the remainder of the series.

Wufei+Nataku was already a beast. Even more a beast in EW despite the wings and scorpion tail being lost in a previous battle (these are retconned lore).

Technically in their own way each gundam pilot has mastered the zero system, all have piloted the wing zero at some point and quattro even had the zero system installed in sandrock when heero said he was the best strategist

All I have to say is the original Tallgeese from the Gundam Wing Novel was made of the same armor as the Gundams. As far as I'm aware the Tallgeese Flugel and Tallgeese MK. II-III were not made out of Gundanium. Edit: Sandrock had the Alice A.I. MK. II.

couple things here. sandrock had a beam resistant cloak we only saw like once. the beam sabre in heavyarms' arm was only added by heero and was never replaced by trowa. the gatlings werent beam weapons either. the tallgeeses gun wasnt a beam weapon. the original deathsythe only had a single bladed beam weapon. the upgrade had 2. the endless waltz version only had 1 as well. Im uncertain how you compiled this list. as you only mentioned base models of all the gundams except altron which is infact an alltogether different machine than wu fei's original shenlong which is nowhere on this list... gundam... the inclusion of altron alone is even more confusing because you included wing and wing zero seperately. and you only mentioned the tallgeese 1 and didnt mention the 2 or the 3... your closing notes about wing zero. the only reason altron was able to damage wing zero in endless waltz is because heero didnt want to fight wu-fei with the zero system. under normal circumstances the only two units capable of matching wing zero would be epyon and tallgeese and thats only if the talgeese was piloted by milliardo. tres could never bring out its full potential.

Isn't Sandrock supposed to be more durable compared to the other Gundams? That's something you completely skipped over. You talked about it's offensive capability and lack of speed, but didn't talk about it's defensive capability. You can't make a ranking list and leave out half of the qualifications.
