There are no hard men in football, put them in the ring with a boxer half their size and they'd be unconscious after 5 seconds. They look hard against other footballers ( who also have no clue how to fight) but against a REAL fighter they would not survive the first punch. Don't believe me? While players obviously shouldn't break each other's jaws and go to jail, I do miss the time when football was also about physical play. It's just too boring these days. A lot of fancy nonsense and then 117 free kicks because someone looked at a player the wrong way. Bunch of wimps. Part of what made some of the earlier technical players so impressive was the fact that they were up against players like those on this list. Today it's much easier being a small technical player because if anyone even looks at you you'll get a free kick. It's just sad.
