Some advice for #10: Golden Baby Yoshis have the extra ability to flash bang enemies. Do a spin jump close enough and enemies like fire bros will be stunned and easy stomping fodder.

The 3 hardest for me were Flight of the Parabeetles, Run For It, & the devil's food on top was the damn Iggy's Volcanic Castle, idk why but the lava waves were so painful to dodge, the level took me hours to complete

I did the Volcano castle in 2 tries, I'll tel yo what to do, you gt the first star coin and then you come up to a checkpoint, jump over the checkpoint dont hit it. Then you can get a mushroom and hit a red ring for an easy ice flower. Next you will see two turtles, kill the first one with your ice and ground pound on him because he will cause you trouble. Nw the other turtle you can freeze him at the right time and then jump on him to take the tunnel up to the second star coin. Now when you come back you need to back track and hit the checkpoint, now if you die you'll still have te first 2 star coins. Now you you need to run about half way untill you find a safe spot to rest and then get to the end. Before you go into the boss door there is a hidden fire flower in the far right, take that for the boss fight. The boss needs to be finished quickly because if not he will send out 2 of those red things and they are very hard to dodge, with the fire flower I would suggest shooting him and then jumping on him because takes damage from those, you need to try and jump on him quickly as well. Anyway then you have 2 star coins, now go back to the level and you can do the same to get the third but this time without less stress because you cant lose the first 2.

My list . Slide lift tower, Pirahnas on ice, Haunted shipwreck, Shifting floor cave, Para-beetle flight, Fire bar cliffs, Red hot elevator ride, Pedulum castle, Swim for your life, and the hardest for me is Run for it.

I dont know if it's because I havent played a New Super Mario Bros game in a while but I finally started NSMBU and I feel like this is just the hardest game in the series. I just don't remember the DS, 3DS, and Wii games being as hard.

I have a tip for the parabeetle stage. It wont help much but it will help a bit. First you need to have a red yoshi available, then you should get an acorn from the first level then you need to save the game so I would suggest going to world 1 tower 1 and just beating that again so it lets you save. Now you need to do the Parabeetle level in 2 runs, go pick up the red Yoshi and go for the third star coin first, you will see its much easier to get to the end with him, now when you come to the endyou need to carefully line up the parabeetle with the red tunnel, on the Switch version jumping off them doesnt make them go down but ground pounding will, be very careful of this because they are flying to the right you have the risk of sliding off them. I would say line one up for to the correct height and keep jumping up and down to maintain the height. Once you get the third coin it will be very easy to go back to the level and get the other 2 with red yoshi. Now if you die and lose the yoshi just restart and go pick him up again. Remember to save again after you get the coins by replaying the first tower. That is the easiest way I could figure out to do the level and it took me like 3 hours to figure that out. On the old Wii U version the player had the chance to make a platform appear but they dont have that on the switch version.

I have PTSD from Pendulum Castle, man. To this day I swear those donut blocks fall faster than normal ones Also, I would probably take out one of the ghost house levels and replace it with Superstar Road - 2: Run For It!

Shifting Floor Cave isn't actual torture, because with an Acorn Suit, you can grab the third star coin easily.

I'm having a hard time agreeing with any levels being difficult. Personally, and I mean it genuinely. There hasn't been much of a moment when difficulty is presented mostly because I'm just dying to reset a challenge for the star coins, and if it was any other Mario game, I could probably die to a mismatch jump in early game levels with no intent whatsoever or me being younger with no years of experience. Yup, this series isn't perfect for being difficult, but yet fun, and that's exactly how I stick to some other games instead. Mario isn't really a home for me.

10. 8-1: I know the 8th world has hard levels but reason it’s on the list is that there’s meteors all over the place it’s not bad if you practice a lot and platforms move a lot if you rush through the level it’s easy to die not always though
