Doesn't anybody else hate it whenever you are looking for a certain Pokemon in the same route for a long time but instead you keep on getting encountered by the same Pokemon you don't want? And when it feels like its been hours, you finally encounter it but it either runs away or the Pokemon you were using did a critical hit on it and made it faint. I've been there. T_T

Nayeon Kim this is my way to catch a pokemon firstly, save the game secondly, use these two Marowak and Haunter. Haunter will make the pokemon fall a sleep and Marowak will use False Swipe to make it weak at 1 HP. Only use Sleep move and False Swipe to catch the pokemon, don't make them poisonous, confused bcuz it might die. hope this help will help

You have to go on a spacific path, (never hinted at by any NPC) dive in a spacific place, (never hinted at by any NPC) read fuckin brail, do a bunch of random shit, have two spacific Pokemon with you, and do some ritual bullshit, just to open 3 doors, (it doesn't tell you where the doors are) then you have to solve a puzzle in each dungeon, which you first have to find. Then you have to catch them which isn't easy

Tip for finding surskit, save in grass with surskit, reset game and mash A through opening cutscenes, when you load up your save run through the grass as fast as possible and you have a much higher chance of finding a surskit. This definitly beats running around for an hour to find it

Anorith is *NOTHING* hard to find in Pokemon Emerald,you just have get into that Sand Tower that appears at the desert close to the town where you get the bikes,it incredibly takes short time to appear again after it dissapeared,and inside that tower,you have 2 fossils,one of them is Anorith.Curiously to get into the Fossils room you have to go through some traps (on some parts the floor is pretty broken,to pass through it you must go at max speed with the Mach Bike.) The other fossil is a rare flower.

quick tip for celadon. hit the button twice really fast. a majority of the time two sevens will align in some way. then take ur time to align the last one. dont be discorugaed if u miss. after a few tries ull get used to it. though sonetines it wont work and ull get nothing. doesnt matter. keep trying

feebas is really easy to find in slateport, but you has to catch it first before it dissappear as a hard to find pokemon .

here's the thing. the only reason most people that started with the originals dislike the new ones (and I started with the originals, too, btw) is because GameFreak is using the same kinds of gags and creativity as they used with the originals, and we've gotten tired of it. a living bag of garbage is no less creative than living slime. an electric unicorn, a flaming horse. how are Ekans and Arbok any more creative than Vannilish, Vanniluxe, and Vannilite? wow, a newer generation has ice cream Pokémon. the old ones had a snake whose name was the word snake backwards. that's not very creative. slime becoming a larger glob of slime? a lizard with a flame on its tail, a turtle, and a lizard with a bulb on its back were the original starters. no more creative than a fox made of fire, a chipmunk with a spiky head, and a frog. we're just more used to the kind of stuff they do, so we don't find it as amazing or interesting. they aren't bad. and what about names? as was already pointed out, Magikarp is a magic carp. Ekans is a snake and Arbok is a cobra. Grimer is grime, Muk is muck. Voltorb is an electric Pokeball (an orb, with volts of electricity). compare those to Garbador, garbage with bad odour, or Trubbish, trash and rubbish. they didn't become any more or less creative. had the games been released in reverse order, you would most likely be saying that X, Y, Black, White, Black 2, White 2 are amazing while Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal suck
