As a Caps, I can't tell you enough about how Lundqvist absolutely robbed MULTIPLE series against us. Literally made Ovi struggle to average over a point per game. Even having Holtby in his peak in goal couldn't help us win, gosh probably the best goaltending matchup I've seen from both goalies, basically a .950 sv% for both every night.

That 2015 series may legitimately be one of the best goalie duels of all time. Holtby and Lundqvist were both out of their minds.

As a fellow caps fan, I knew whenever they played each other (Especially in the playoffs) it was going to be fun to watch. Holtby and Lundqvist would go back and forth. He was such a pain tho.

Rinne kind of did too as well, Fleury, Luongo, Anderson, Rask were all top goalies along with Bishop. Plus Bishop was so close in 2015 and 2020😣

I forget how reliable Hank was. How miserable it must of been playing against him. No one before or since is as good in shoot outs. It was like a guaranteed win even with our ass line up. 13 rounds? Marek Malik? No problem.

I´m not a Rangers fan but it´s a shame he didn´t get to win the Stanley. But he did get some gold medals with the Swedish national team tho. Both Olympic and World cup if I´m not totally wrong here. Anyways, respect to one of the best in the business

I'm pausing it at 3:05 as that's the closest the puck gets to crossing the red line. If you look at the two black sections inside Henrik's glove at that angle, I believe the puck was in the upper black section. I didn't watch this game but if I had to guess the play was ruled inconclusive.
