The last project, the tall wood pumpkins, could be reworked for Christmas, as Christmas candles. You would just need to replace the "stem", with a "yellow flame", and make a stain from red or green paint, by adding quite a bit of water to red or green paint, and applying it to the wood, then wiping it off. For more control, since it's raw wood, maybe put a layer of clear wax on the wood, before adding the homemade stain. It allows you time to get a more even color. Practice the colors on a scrap piece of wood, to see how it takes stain or paint.

I LOVE the cream beaded pumpkin! One could use a wine cork, as the stem, if they had some handy, or know someone who drinks wine. Thrift stores often sell bags of wine corks as well. But getting them free, with wine, or from a friend, is the best option. For those who like orange pumpkins, the beads can be spray painted orange, by feeding them onto a skewer, and using orange spray paint.
