I think one of the strongest messages I've received from watching Schitt's Creek is that female comedians continue to have value. @lcoffey43 жыл бұрын
Please tell me you have seen her in all the Christopher Guest movies...? If not, go watch them all now! Catherine is hilarious and incredible in them. Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and For Your Consideration. She is one of the main ensemble characters in the first three, and the star of the fourth. Eugene Levy stars in all four movies as well, and they play couples in two of them. They are stellar movies full of wacky characters, just like Schitt's Creek.

You will love them! When you see them, you may get a sense of where Daniel got the knack for creating wacky, yet very believable characters. “This Is Spinal Tap” was Christopher Guest’s first foray into hilarious mockumentaries. I’m pretty sure he and Michael McKeon invented the genre and they just got funnier from there. “A Mighty Wind” and “Best in Show” are my favorites. Eugene and Catherine together are comedy gold. Daniel and Annie clearly have that same magic.

My favourite is when Moira and Johnny goes to buy a second hand car and moira tells them they can afford a new car (after the car dealership couple recognises then and tells them about what happened to them) and then Johnny responds you see we cannot even afford to buy her medicines 😂
