I believe the sp aff Burtoniae variegated always reverts back to green. Only the new growth shows the variegation but they all fade down eventually

Cooler temperatures definitely play a part in leaves changing color. Just look outside!

I think that leaves changing colors in fall is due mostly to less daylight? at least with deciduous trees

Krimson queen is my first hoya and I still think she is the most beautiful hoya!!! I have branched out getting veiny ones and button (mathilde, Krohniana super splashy) and I still think the queen is the most beautiful

Hi, I enjoy your channel especially because I am a hoya fan. I have a small collection so far. Tha burtoniae, I thought it was called DS 70 or something like that. Mine is the green version but gets a purplish hue from my grow lights. I love that plant. It did nothing for a long-time but once I moved it it started to grow and flowered twice this year. My name is Mona too and I just started a KZbin channel but literally just started posting and have no idea what I am doing. Lol. Once I get a video on my hoyas I'll share with you. Tips appreciated. I also killed my big momma plant of my krimson queen. It had root rot, I repotted it, it was fine, then it got mites. Mine is about the same size as yours now.
