Request: I have seen other vehicles with automatic door locking by walking away with they key fob. Once the key fob is a certain distance away, click click - locked. What would even be cooler is walk away and the doors lock, windows close and mirrors fold in. Lastly, thanks for Video in Motion, it works super great! 2016 BMW X5 5.0

I'm confused about enhanced bluetooth. My car can stream music but does not have the option to read texts. Also the sound quality is poor. So do I already have enhanced bluetooth?

Yes you do.The range of functions covered by Enhanced Bluetooth option strongly depends on the type of your smartphone as well as the design of the BMW hardware and software in your car. For example, if you can’t access calendar or read text messages, it means that your smartphone is not compatible with the factory pre-set configurations of your BMW, and this doesn’t let this particular feature work. Visit www.bmwusa.com/owners/bluetooth-technology (for North America) or www.bmw.com/content/bmw/marketBMWCOM/bmw_com/en_CC/footer/compatibility-check (for other locations) and check which features you should have available.

I have a 2016 Bmw f22 with nbt entrynav hu and I found a $400 full hu/screen/controller from a 2014 x5 with the 8.8 screen and navigation. Can I swap my whole hu for this and be able to code it to have apple car play?

Hi, unfortunately not. Firstly, the X5 screen isn't going to fit in your F22. Secondly, the 2014 HU isn't equipped to activate CarPlay. In general you've got two options. One option is to retrofit an NBT Evo ID5/6 HU, which is equipped for CarPlay, and then you can activate the native CarPlay option. Hello, thanks for all the info. I bought the bimmercode and coded my 2018 540i m sport. I have a quick question. I cant code the m logo to my cluster in comfort mode. I can select others like m550i and i works but not the m logo. M logo appears in the sport mode but not in comfort mode. Am i missing something?? Thanks guys

Hello, is it possible to do a firmware software and navigation update on a BMW using the coding software? I have a 2010 328i sedan and I tried to update my navigation maps and I got an error message...I was informed that early production (03/2010) vehicles had a glitch with the firmware and it needed to be updated before any navigation maps updates can be done. Yes, put adapter in the obs inside the car, install bimmercode.. not sure if this free, i just paid for everything... anyway inside the bimmbercode, select your car model, go to roof center, activate acoustical lock/unlock conformation and choose your sound and volume and then press code. Simple.
