Hey there it is! Finished Eight Billion Genies (beautiful, loved it), started on Radiant Black. Figured if I'm going to REALLY read comics I'll have to shake off some of my bias against superhero stories. Enjoying it, Image Comics seems to have a lot of interesting stuff. Thanks for these recommendations too!

Im curious...since you give a disclaimer at the beginning of the video saying that you are aware you are using the term "indie" entirely wrong, what is the reason you titled it this way? Do videos more accurately titled "non-Big 2" or "creator-owned" not perform as well with the algorithm?
@TheComicBookReport17 күн бұрын
@@HarveyPekarsGhost to be honest I still personally see indie as anything non big-2. That’s the way my brain organizes comics for whatever reason. I’ve had discussions with many in comments over the years about this point, and I certainly understand the arguments for what makes something indie/independent. I had the disclaimer at the beginning to try to steer around some of the comments I may get, and yeah I do think indie looks a bit cleaner on a title/thumbnail than non-big-2 🤷🏻♂️😂

It's a giant robot pilot fighting giant monsters from another dimension. The twist is that they are using a mind meld tech, and the pilot gets "absorbed" into the robot. There's a lot more to it.
