You are soooo right!!!I started thrifting because i wad sooo done with H&M,Urban Planet,4ever21 etc.Don't get me wrong some stuff is nice but i felt like i was throwing my money in the garbage!My style is more classic i like stuff that never goes out of style,when you dont follow"the big trends"you are better off going to the thrift store.

I have become a huge thrift shopper in the last year. I have found a few really cute bags (I got an Italian patent leather gold bamboo handled mini bag for $3!!!!). I'm all about vintage mens Levi's and blazers and outerwear. I also found a vintage Valentino trench for $18. I love that with thrifting you won't see yourself coming and going. Outwear and blazers I have not brought a new out the store wool coat in over 10 yrs. Dresses too I'd add to my list. Cleaning tip: awesome spray from Dollar tree and cold water either pretreatment or hand wash and it will take out every thing!

I cannot over emphasize just how much I loved this video! I have been thrifting for years and majority of my wardrobe (including boots and shoes) are from “the goody” as I do fondly refer to thrift stores as. I love the pieces that you pulled. My favorite items to purchase are embellished sweaters that are borderline ugly but their is a unique twist that make them DOPE and dresses that have a great fit. It’s all about details are cute for me! Keep the videos coming. Oh and I loved the phrase “money doesn’t buy style!”.

My favorite thrift store item is a men’s brown plaid wool coat. The sleeves are too long, so I cuff them and it’s big in the shoulders, but I love it. I also have found some great dresses and skirts at the thrift store.

My favorite items to pick up are definitely flannels, fun printed pants (sometimes jeans but those are harder to find in my size sadly), layering pieces like cool jackets 🧥 I personally have 3 fringe jackets already and all were thrifted and under $30 :), vintage dresses, punky pieces, and bolo ties because they have such fun designs and are great for those allergic to metal still wanting to look fun and unique!

you are so right about labels and fabricks! i always check them even if something looks basic or boring. all my "better quality" fabricks are from thriftstores because i would never buy cashmere or wool anywhere else because it's expensive. i am tired of polyester or acrylic knitwear.

100% with you on all of those! Cashmere sweaters are a great thing. They are a good one to seek out when you are in a huge salvation army that's barely sorted and overwhelming 'cause you can just run your hand along the sweaters and feel for the texture of it. Workout wear is another good one. You can find nearly new name brand pants, tops, jackets, etc. If you're abroad definitely check out the used clothing part of the markets. The Indonesians thought it was hilarious to see me pick up American clothes in their used clothes barn but Nike and underarmour breathable shirts for $1?

Steaming and washing are a great way to clean items. If all else fails, dry clean the item.

It’s my most favorite thrifted item. Though my denim jackets and boots are my most worn 😂 also got an amazing pair of tony Lama boots for $7 barely worn! Thrift is key!
