Throughout he’s up there with top 10-15 even in war with reanimation. Madara Naruto Sasuke Hashriama Minato Tobirama Obito Lord Third Bee Pain (even tho he doesn’t live long fighting Bee Itachi and Naruto ) Itachi Kabuto (during the war) and maybe Orchimaru Guy He’s easily just as strong as the Hokage during the war maybe not as strong as Ohnoki and Raikage but he’s right there at top 15 throughout the war and with no reanimation he’s top 10 with just Naruto Sasuke Itachi Pain Obito Bee Ohnoki Lord A Pervy Sage and I’d say Orchimaru if he wasn’t sick but he was and Kisame but he might be able to take him idk it’d be close.

I swear the show is at its best whenever characters like Kakashi, Rock Lee, or Shikamaru are fighting. All the special eyes, tail beast forms, and Jutsu spam are cool and all, but for a show about ninjas, I just find more enjoyment watching them use hand-to-hand combat, strategies, misdirection, and just a bit of Jutsu. This is just ONE of the reasons Kakashi's my favorite.

Kakashi and Shikamaru are the 2 best Shinobi in terms of what it means to be a ninja. Strategy, analysis, self-preservation, knowing thyself and thy enemy, teamwork, fighting enemies that are way stronger but still able to win or at least hold their own and escape alive with their comrades. Kakashi’s demeanor is so damn cool he inspired characters in other anime. Legend.

He has over 1,000 skills and is said to be Konoha’s Top jutsu master at a time where Shinobi God Hiruzen who mastered all of Konoha’s existing jutsu reigning as Hokage (Chapter 113, page 15). He’s said to be smarter than Shikamaru (Chapter 246, page 12) & the best jutsu analyst (597, page 1) with feats cementing the claims. He is second to none. His worst enemy is his own shortcomings (minimul chakra due to the Sharingan greatly surpressing it). Without it, he would be Hashirama level (if not stronger) a lot sooner.

Many charecters in the Naruto verse were nerfed and even killed to please the plot. Kakashi was a guy who already had 2 Chakra natures when he was at the academy. Naruto was in his teens when he mastered his 1st chakra nature. Minato was the fastest guy in the world but he was killed off to call the show Naruto and not Minato. Tobirama literally had 100s of forbidden jutsus up his sleeve. Just 1 of those forbidden jutsus were beating the crap out the 5 great nations. But he was killed by kinkaku force like lmao 🤣. Kishimoto literally did some of these charecters really bad.

@@mid_professor kakashi used sharingan to copy more than 1000 ninjutsu...because knew one day he has to let go of his sharingan...now you see...in boruto kakashi dont have sharingan so his chakra reserves last longer...on top of that he had mastered all 5 types of chakra nature....he knows more than 1000 ninjutsu...everybody knows that there is no one who can surpass kakashi in speed when he weaves hand signs...his taijutsu is not as good as guy but its on par with lee...his strategic ability is on par with shikamaru's father...and now he seem to have developed his own purple lightening which is similar to chidori but doesnt require sharingan...so kakasi is a complete ninja...has a good battle experience...a man worthy of being 6th hokage

Idk, but for me, the Copy Ninja tale of Kakashi that the show hyped on the early parts of the series wasn't really given enough screentime. I mean, some non Kakashi fans would look at him a lil different if his copy skill was incorporated in his battles. Also, I kinda assume that Kakashi knows a shit tonne of jutsus but I don't think it was ever shown throughout the series and that was something lacking in his fights. I imagine his fights to be a jutsu showdown like the fan made vid of him battling Sasuke. Man, i would really love to see his fights with no cap. Just him on a match showcasing what Kakashi is really made of.
