Kinda funny how Lucifer hate God so much copied him and made four princes of hell just like how he made four archangels and the princes are stronger than all other demons and are ment to rule if he wasn't around. Then he goes and makes demons where some are stronger than others just like how there are other Angels stronger than others. He even made Knights of Hell which could be the Angels version of grigori. Even alot if there powers are mirrors of each other. Yes angels are stronger than demons but demons have more freedom with there powers. And just like how Angels can't make nephilim's demons can't make cambions and they both are stronger than their parents. Demons basically have the same job as angels and that's taking care of souls in there domain. It's like Lucifer went okay I'm going to male my own heaven and children like you did dad.

Lucifer's daddy issues are pretty much his main defining characteristic, lol. Everything goes back to his broken relationship with Chuck. Plus while he tries to act like he doesn't care about anything, like he's above pesky human feelings and all that, he's actually maybe the most emotional angel we've seen and he lets his emotions rule over him completely... So considering that he's spent most of his life alone, with all of his family hating him, it's natural that he keeps trying to make his own family - first with the demons, though they never were what he wanted them to be, then with Sam, but his true vessel rejected him and put him back to the Cage instead, and finally with Jack, his own son who he lost as well... IMHO Lucifer would be a lot less murderous if he could make up with the original Michael or just have some family or friends for once...

He hates humans because apparently he feels like we weren't worthy of God's love. He fought with Chuck over that fact burning all his bridges in Heaven and his own creations sicken him. He'll kill any of his demons the second they irritate him. Lucifer somehow believes he's the strongest being alive and should be able to do whatever he wants. The fact that beings exist who stop him, contain him or try to destroy him is vexing and that's about it. When he was a rockstar he had literally millions of fans, those he interacted with he made them mutilate themselves. As himself he had the love and devotion of his demons, witches like Rowena and other cultists; he'd kill em when they outlived their usefulness or irritated him. As president of the U.S. he had a love affair with a woman to spawn a child, he took her captive and was going to let her die. I'm certain he only ever viewed Jack as a weapon/backup power source. He couldn't even be God for a week cuz it involved too much effort. He's alone cuz he made himself that way and chooses to be that way.

Mark Pellagrino as Lucifer is my personal favorite, the way he plays him seems so natural. Now before the Lucifer fans try to burn me at the stake, I like that show too and that Lucifer is great too but it’s a different kind of Lucifer. He’s great in a “the devil isn’t the bad guy” kind of way but Marks Lucifer? He’s the “I’m bad because I want to do things that are bad and I really don’t care how anyone feels about it.” That rampage scene in the Gods Motel is proof not to mention all the hell he gave the other characters, he’s a unapologetic charismatic douche bag and that’s what I love. Lucifer from the show Lucifer reminds me more of Crowley (who is my second favorite character in Supernatural right behind Gabriel) the bad guy turned good and is secretly a huge sweetheart. Both are great! But I personally like Marks Luci more.
