Top 10 Kingdom Hearts 2 Bosses That Mickey Will Rescue Sora
How Does Mickey Work ?
What does mickey do for sora ? Mickey will jump into battle to give sora a helping hand when sora is unable to fight.
Mickey can fight for sora throughout the entire fight. How this works is that mickey has a dirve gauge which can be charge
by force or by landing attacks on his target to fill up the gauge. If mickey sucessfully fills up the gauge he can fully revive sora
at full health for a better result but if mickey fails to get the gauge filled up & loses all his health he can still revive sora but if mickey
fails to reach max gauge & drops to zero hp mickey will not be able to revive sora at full health instead he will revive sora with a potion.

Note mickey can not defeat any boss that sora is fighting because mickey does not do finishers only sora can be the one to do the last blow to the boss or by his teams limits.

When ever sora is out of the fight the game is not officially over until it actually says game over. A white screen will appear with two option that says i won't give up or it's all over. When sora is down & you have not used mickey when you were given a option to use him in a previous fight that had mickey to show up in it mickey will 100% show up in the next fight that has mickey in it because you have not used him. For example if you already use mickey some where else that had mickey to show up the percentage of mickey showing up in the next fight that mickey can show up in will have a low percentage rate because each time you use mickey the percentage of mickey showing up will drops.

Mickey can also save Sora on the first Grim Reaper fight in Port Royal 2. It's understandable that you missed it, since that fight is intentionally one of the easiest fights in the game.

Yeah, I was told that he shows up in that fight. Makes me wonder why they even put him in that fight to begin with? If anything he should have been in the second fight even though that fight was not as bad just beefed up is all but still seems like a fight he should have been in since I have seen people die there more than the first fight lol. Oh yeah for sure. We never use it because he is super easy & the only time you will see him if your doing a level 1 playthrough on critical mode since sora takes more damage on critical were as on standard you won't have to worry about dying unless it was by accident but yup he shows up there.😁

I think you missed a boss. I heard you can use Mickey if Sora dies to the Grim Reaper(phase 1). I don't usually see players use him in that, mostly because the Grim Reaper's one of the easiest bosses. Memories are in a blur, but I think I used Mickey in that fight when I was little.

Yeah, he's one of those fights were I never used reflect in it when I was a teen. Actually the only time I did use it was when he drops down on Sora with the final slam so I could damage him then jump him.

I just love the reaction first-time players have when they first see mickey & it is usually on Xaldin boss fight because let's face it he was a hard fight as a kid lol. But yeah mickey is op which is why a lot of people lose to Cerberus on purpose just to speed up the fight with his pearl attack because that fight is a time-waster when he jumps, bites, shoot light-dark orbs the whole time making the fight become a camping ground to survive instead of getting in some openings.

Yeah, critical mode is the mode that you will Mickey a lot granted you get lucky with the percentage of him showing up. Seeing Mickey in his Organization XIII Coat was super dope, especially at the mid-point into the game where stuff really starts to pick up when you get to see Mickey's new outfit which made it even more badass.

Yeah, Xaldin seems like it was everyone's Nightmare alongside Demyx. Yup, they had a percentage on it to I guess balance it so it would not be busted even though you can still use him to knock the boss's health to 1 before Sora has to deliver the final blow. Mickey chance of coming after using him as you progress the game will stop at 50% if I remember correctly & stay that way.

keep in mind that after the first time you get mickey, your chances for him to spawn again will be lowered ^.^ (forever on that save file btw. it won't go back up magically for any such reasons) So if you don't want to waste his 100% to show up, you better save it for the right time :)

nah, i just played this game for the first time through the whole month, and most of this game's bosses were actually easy and enjoyable, but then there was the dude from 11:45 and it was nearly impossible, then Mickey Mouse showed up and it was really confusing at first

It's really up to the game to decide how many times Mickey will save sora. I do know that when ever you lose in a fight that Mickey was designed to show up in & you have not use a Mickey he will show up 100 percent in that fight. Now if you lose in another fight that Mickey mouse show up in the percentage of him showing up drops to 80% which is still good but just means you want to be careful. But if you lose in a fight with that 80% of him showing up & the screen is white & you choose I give up the 80% of him showing up will still be there & won't count as a rescue. That's basically how Mickey was designed in kingdom hearts 2 hope that helps. Now if you want to save your percentage of him showing up save before a boss fight so that way if you lose in a fight that Mickey shows up in you can give up & fight that boss again fresh after reloading the save so if you beat that boss that Mickey jumps in you can save that percentage of Mickey showing up for another fight along the way like xaldin, storm rider.

If you are on level 1critcal mode most people probably would die to Cerberus. Most times in speed runs they lose to him on purpose to use Mickey's pearl attack to speed up the fight since on level 1 it takes to long. So he is used as a speed run tech for speed runners.

There is a hidden percentage in the game that decreases every time mickey saves Sora. The higher the percentage the better chance he will come out. If it is low that means the chance of him showing up in the fight he is supposed to show up in will be lower. Any fight he shows up in & Sora has not died until then he will 100 percent show up on the first time but if he keeps getting saved by him the percentage will drop & will stop at either 50% or 30% meaning the chance of him coming will be rare after.

If sora dies in a fight & he does not come out it means the percentage is low because you used him a lot which drops it to how frequent he shows up in battle. It's something that the developer had as a hidden percentage that you can't see.

@@keybladewar22 Yeah, since 358/2 days, I never see any KH game that have such things. Even I'm glad re-mind can do the work, it still not enough since you can only play in several scenario.

I don't remember right but I think Mickey first saved me in the Xaldin fight, it would have been cool if Mickey was controlable, only in remind can you use Mickey, Kingdom Hearts II is an awesome game and Final Mix adds so much cool stuff, I prefer some of the orginal designs though, I wanted to play final mix back in the day so I made a burned copy and used swap magic now I have an actual copy as well as the remixes digitally and physically, Kingdom Hearts II is fun I rarely die any more though expect for those nobodies in cavern of remembrance and sometimes those cars lol

You and me both. I burned the game on cd but used the free mcboot program and played the game. The first time I played KH2FM was back in 2012 on the emulator but the computer we had was not the best performer in speed but it was still some what playable with a few tweaks here & there. Yeah it would have been cool to control mickey that I won't lie about but look at it this way maybe he will be playable in the next game since each character splits up to find Sora. So fingers crossed if that happens along with a full fledge playable kairi as well.

@@keybladewar22 I remember I first tried the game on the computer and frame rate was really bad so I asked for swap magic, I got it and made a burned copy probably in 2008 I think but could have been sometime in 2009 like early on because I remember having re chain the black label version, I know it was before the time of the English patch, I did eventually get the English patch and that was nice, it's really cool to have an actual copy of Final Mix 2, I did order Final Mix 1 just the other day even though I already own those collections a few times, I was kinda not thinking and as a big fan the few day gap for KH3 was bothering me so I bought a Japanese copy and skipped cut scenes and only played up to twlight town, then on the 28th at 9pm I played the English copy of the game, the idea of the next game sounds cool, I miss things like the colosseum,and hope some of the world's return, that would be really cool, I heard KH1 was suppose to have 20 worlds but they had to cut them due to time.

@@Kyle-ii4fp I always wanted the physical copy of kh2fm just because I really like the box art for that game along with KH1FM box art. Yeah, it would have been really cool if the coliseum in KH3. Re fighting the heartless there in a cup match would have been fun.

@@keybladewar22 it's really cheap on eBay now, I got kh2fm for about 12 dollars on eBay as well as kh1fm and a Japanese copy of KH1 (non fm)

@@keybladewar22 I feel like Kingdom hearts II is better and this is from a Toy Story fan, timeless river and many other worlds are memorable!, also drive forms are really fun too, I have no idea how easy proud mode is now I play on critical and sometimes level 1, only things that tend to give me issues is the nobodies that grab you and the cars.

How come at a certain point in the game he shows up without the hood?

Because after the event of goofy being knocked out Mickey takes off his hood after the demyx fight. So now when ever you die in a fight after hallow bastion 3 is when you will see Mickey in his kh2 outfit.
