Although the director tried to show ryo as the true love interest of tohru. But actually ryo isn't like that what we have shown in this series. He do have a kind of flirty nature towards girls like tohru. He also knows well how to attract a girl like tohru but he says that he don't know how he can patch up with people in society. Ryo isn't the most calm person as he is shown, the reason he is always calm is bcz no soma behaves rudely with him in fact ryo always talk rudely with kyo with no reason shows his arrogance, kyo does the same to ryo not bcz he is arrogant but he is frustrated of the ignorance for him among soma for his cat zodiac spirit and he is often considered inferior if compared to ryo. Ryo isn't kind, he just talks calmly with tohru nothing else, kyo isn't so calm while talking to anyone including tohru bcz of his frustration and anger for the ignorance and dis among the somas, while ryo haven't faced these things in his life. Kyo likes to be alone and ignore the world bcz of the ignorance and cold nature for him among somas.

BriThi ... 🍓 I used to ship Yuki and Tohru so much because their chemistry was shipping ⛵️ during the 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣1️⃣ anime 😊 📺... but as the manga progresses, it is obvious that the manga illustrator 👩🏻‍🎨✍🏼must make a difficult decision between Yuki 🐁 and Kyo 🐈 ... 😞 I was kind of sad about it, but it is life ... & so I just learned to accept that this is also the case in real life

Honestly one of my favorite kyoru moments is in episode 24 when she's walking back home with cat- kyo in her arms while the sun is rising. He looks so relaxed and she looks so relieved that he's coming home and 😣 i just love it

I feel so happy that other people also can see the potiential in Kyo and Tohru as a pair. There was so few moments between Kyo and Thoru compared to Yuki and Thoru Moments. The whole show was basically screaming Yuki and Tohru, and I think it is quite certain that they will end up together based on the anime. Still I am happy for these small moments you have found. I, along with every other Fruits Basket fan I'm sure, appreciate your deadication to the series. Would you believe that number 10 was even more intimate in the manga, with Kyo stroking Tohru's hair before apologising to her. Kyo's smile in episode 11 melted my heart plus it was a nice way of softening he's image for the not so Kyo loving fans. Yeah Kyo has such a low opinion of himself (understandable given he's situation) that it's actually really tragic. Yes this is probably the first time (outside of Kazuma) that someone's tried to really connect or listen to Kyo, as even the people who say they like him or people who don't seem to mind he's company usually ignore he's boundaries/make him do stuff he dosn't want to or make him feel bad. Aww yeah the sick episode really highlights Kyo softer side wonderfully as he turns out to be the perfect confider for Tohru's worries. I think number 4 is an important moment as Tohru (who's probably more senstive in that moment because she had to deal with her shitty family) is able to finally let her "selfishness" out for the first time & the reason why I think it makes perfect sense that it happens in front of Kyo is that he is usually unable to hide he's negative emotions (unlike Yuki) so I think Tohru dosn't worry that he's putting up with her just to be nice because she knows that Kyo would get mad at her if she was actually bothering him lol. Aww Kyo & Tohru's big smiles is really top tier content lol & while it might not be as dramatic as the others (probably why your friend didn't think it belonged at number 1) I tottally agree with you that it was just such a great moment because of all the build up to it & the significance of it after all they'd been through in the previous episode & I think your right that Tohru hasn't smiled like she did in this scene with any other character. Tohru's speech to Kyo might have been my biggest "oh fuck now that's love" moment when I first read the manga (I still like the 2001 anime version but it dosn't hold the same weight for me as it took so many other people to convince Tohru to go to Kyo that the speech just dosn't feel as honest to me) like Tohru's laying bare everything she's feeling in that moment & number 1 is Kyo responding in kind. He's done bottling up this pain, he's done pretending that he's life before Kazuma dosn't hurt him. He's shown Tohru such an ugly side of himself but thanks to Tohru's help instead of convincing himself that there's no hope left for him now, he waits to transform back to human so he can let he's tears out & tell her how he feels (like she wanted him to) & appoliges by finally calling her by her name & hugging her so that she can cuddle him in he's small unthreatinging cat form & carry him home as a sign of how much he now trusts her (something he was too embrassed & ashamed to let her do in episode 23). I also really love their scene in the woods during episode 10 & thier scene in the grave yard during episode 14 but I get that you couldn't put all thier moments in this list. It's fine if you don't want to do them but if you were looking for any more video ideas (for Fruits Basket or other things) then I think top shady character moments, top physco character moments, top funniest moments, top theriose (with your audience sworn to not spoiling you) & top WTF moments (like what things most shocked you at the time). Oh well Idk what you were celebrating but I hope you had a nice time 😊.

Number one on your list is the one scene I rewatch so much. To me, it establishes their connection for life. Sure, even yuki has a love for her, but what she does for kyo opens his heart in a way that he's never had in his life. Her selfless act brought him to a world that makes his own darkness disappear and that's where she becomes the treasure he's been looking for his entire life.

Thank you... I've been looking for this video since long (well, 5-10 min is pretty long, right?). I sooooooooooo agree with you on the cuteness of this ship and I have nothing to say on which moment should come first and which shouldn't, it didn't matter to me as long as THAT hug scene came first. I actually finished the anime today and I know I won't get over it, so instead of watching it all again (which I'll probably still do lol) I'm going to watch this video again and again, because it contains all the dear moments between Tohru and Kyo that I cherish and will miss so much.... #9 has always been one of my top and most memorable Kyo x Tohru moments. It is brief but man did it pack a punch. In my books, it touches the top 5. That genuine smile, head tilt and reaction from Momiji that Kyo was all lovey dovey this morning.....perfection 🥰🤣👌🏽

What I adore about Kyohru is that most of us come to a mindset that the smallest of loving gestures is a green signal for a healthy romantic relationship, bcos most of the media portrays it that way. But here Tohru and Kyo share the most vulnerable and precious moment at the end of S1 and still continue to stay in their limits and take it slow.

You know at #9 I don’t think he was fishing for anything I think he genuinely thought she would be happier without him there. Since Yuki was there, in his eyes, he couldn’t compete. So when Torhu was happy that he would come for her and give that as his white day gift. He was surprised and happy that she would want him there (when previously, no one had wanted him there. Because he is the cat) I think he partly was teasing but he was mainly/truthfully saying it
