The way he asked her what's wrong during the school trip just gets me. That and his smolder and his admitting that he loves her to himself were my top 3 moments of this season hands down. He's my favorite love interest in any anime tbh. I also can't believe that this season went on for 25 weeks, basically 6 months. It'll be another 6 months before we can see season 3 & I can't wait!

I loved the top 10! ❤️✨ I gotta say, one of my favorite kyoru scenes is the one where little Hiro made Tohru sad and ONLY KYO noticed her true emotions when playing with bugs. Hiro even mentioned "Oh, she is more lively then usual". It may not have a lot of sparkle and romantic flair but I find that to be so deep and meaningful!

Spoilers: I love how Natsuki Takuya makes us all think initially that Yuki and Tohru are the main couple so that we secretly root for Kyo and Tohru, but then give us the amazing feeling of seeing a second lead get the girl. I mean it's just perfect stop imma cry ;-;

Another moment I love is when they hear that Akito summoned Kyo. Their immediate responses are so wholesomely different. Kyo's mad at the idea of Tohru being left all alone, while Tohru's super happy that he got invited. It was like they were told something completely random and unexpected, and their immediate reactions were to consider how it would effect the other person. AHHH They're so stinking cute!!!

This is my first time watching one of your videos. I was worried this was going to be one of those annoying videos where the narrator over-explains all of the clips and adds a bunch of filler statements, but I was blown away. All of the points you make are interesting and relevant, and you are cheerful without being overly perky. Not to mention the excellent clips you chose. Like I'm older as heck from when I first read this series and then watched the anime (I was a high school kid back then lol and now I'm an adult living that ....fun....adult life) and when I heard they were remaking it truer to the manga, my heart felt so many emotions and excitement. This series meant so much to me and really helped me through some rough times and I'm so excited to be watching it again and done so much better in my opinion than the previous animation. Fruits Basket was my first anime and me and my sister would sneak and watch it late at night. Honestly at first I never really had friends to share my favorite shows with (little sisters do not quite count because we had to share the TV) and it means a lot to see other people enjoying them just as much as I did and still do. As magical as those quiet nights where I sneaked off and all those promises to watch just one more episode were, revisiting the shows now and having people to share them with is even beter. I dont think that its necessarily tohru trying to make kyo feel included by making a clay model of him, i think she just genuinely thinks of him as part of the entire zodiac crew even though the family doesn't consider him to be. Tohru always genuinly thinks the best of people without any other thoughts about it, so i think that was just tohru being tohru which is super sweet!!

I think it's going to be interesting to see all of the anime-only fans realizing how much heavier things can get.
