Jigjiga is only part of Ethiopia because the British gave this region to Ethiopia in early 1900 as a gift for helping the British colonists in their war against the Somali! The only reason it’s still part of Ethiopia is because Somalia has been experiencing civil war created by the west and maintained by Ethiopia through proxy wars.. Somali region in Ethiopia will soon be part of Somalia as a federal state.. including Harar and Dirir Dhabe

Jigjiga was part of Harrarghe (the land of the Hararis). Only the Ogaaden desert is Soomaali. BTW, Ras Mekonnen conquered these lands, but Menelik had him cease 8000 miles of it to the British who ruled Soomaalis. The British only gave back the Ogaaden desert to Haile Selassie. Let's not forget the other regions now part of the 1995-created "soomaali regional state" were areas of the former Ethiopian provinces of Harrarghe, Sidamo and Bale. Soon these areas will be independent and soomaalis can keep their Ogaaden. Even if there was no civil war in Somalia, don't dream about any sort of nonsense because Ethiopia is 100X more powerful in every way. In 1977 it was just the Derg army and it's allies that fought Somalia and its allies. That was a time when rest of Ethiopia and Eritrea were fighting the Derg army too! Try a united Ethiopia this time! 😂😂😂
