Top 10 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Sets!

I count down what I feel are the top 10 best LEGO Marvel sets released under the LEGO Super Heroes line. These span the various LEGO Marvel subthemes in the superheroes line, like LEGO Marvel Avengers, LEGO Captain America Civil War, LEGO Doctor Strange, LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy, LEGO Spider-Man sets and so on.

The Blackbird is probably my favorite of the ones left unmentioned. Such a cool build, with 3 pretty great (and one totally unnecessary) exclusive minifigures. It really makes me hope for more X-Men sets down the line.

I consider the creature in the sanctum sanctorum set, Shuma Gorath, a creature from the chaos dimension that only appeared in the comics and the marvel vs capcom games. I actually adore the character even though he's not commonly known. I even drafted a new piece for him, with Boga from the general grevious chase set tail piece as his tentacles.

My favorite marvel superheroes set is, the quinjet aerial battle from 2012 because it had a pretty good minifigure selection with two exclusive minifigures (black widow and iron man mark 7) and had a amazing build with pretty good play features,

My favorite Marvel Lego set is hands down the X-Men Black Bird Jet Set. Don't know if that's the actual name but I don't care. Came with an awesome Black Bird, Great Sentinel build, and a great mini figure selection with costumes I felt were their most iconic looks. Cyclops and Storm's Giant Size X-Men suits, Brown Costume Wolverine, and the 80's Purple and White costume Magneto wore when he joined the X-Men. It's amazing, but that just may be my bias to Marvel's merry batch of Mutant

What I think is great is that Lego has made all of Greg Cipes' most recognizable animated characters: Beast Boy (TT; TTG), Michealangelo (TMNT), and Iron Fist (USM).

Just2good as a young kid I got the Iron Man Extremis Sea Port Battle,Wolverine Chopper Showdown and the Spider Cycle Chase I still have all of the Minifigures(Some are worn) but I couldn’t make the Nick Fury vehicle because I was missing parts

I love the marvel super heroes sets, they are the reason I got back into legos, I also own most of the sets except some of the early spiderman sets. I agree mostly with this list but I personally think the original quinjet is by far the best marvel superheroes set, so much better then the second or third ones. I love all the different moving wing parts, & I also think it's one of the most movie accurate sets out there. I also would throw the avengers tower in there, I do wish it was a bit bigger but hey it's avengers tower. Also I do have the hellicarrier & love it, it would probably be my second favorite marvel set. Also if we are going for value I would say the ghost rider set is a great small set just based on value alone, the ghost rider mini fig is awesome, his bike could have been a little better but not bad, the hobgoblin & his glider are awesome, also it's the cheapest set to get that new web piece which is kind of cool. Also another based on value is the miles morales/carnage set, cheap set & I love both of those minifigs, 2 of my favorites.If you do a worst set list definitely throw the sentinel/xmen jet set in there, so disappointing, jet is not that great, what were they thinking with that magneto costume, he has a ton better ones they could have used, the cyclops is so plain, use the 90's jim lee suit, I wish the storm had a Mohawk hair piece, & that sentinel is so bad. The wolverine with the mask which is removable & they give you a hair piece is probably the best part of that set.

No. 6 “Spider-Man Daily Bugle Showdown” is one of my interested in having. One of the reasons why I like it, is because, Doctor Doom at least shows up. Can’t forget the man who ruled the world twice and gave it up because he got bored. “Emperor Doom” Comic. Another he used Purple Man’s powers.

Original Quinjet was better. Captured the movie version perfectly. You can't criticize a set for not being colourful enough when it perfectly matched the color of the subject matter. Plus all that storage!

I'd say it comes down to which you prefer (I know that's not helpful, but hear me out). If you have the other Civil War sets, I'd highly recommend Tanker Takedown. The new versions of Hawkeye, Spider-Man and Vision are great and will complete the set. If you don't have the other Civil War sets then the Doctor Strange set is a fantastic display piece with two great figures (and the hideous Ancient One figure).

Actually, ultron prime was not exclusive to the quinnjet. He also came with the San Diego comic con exclusive throne of ultron.
