I installed Dolphin file manager on PopOS and did some configuration. My question: how do you do this animations when you open a browser, file manager? It looks cool.

Pure Evil in the alias commands is , cd = 'rm -rf --no-preserve-root' .A little story about this. On the third day at a new job, the teamlead did this to me as a joke, and then I was accidentally given access to the prod server, and of course, when I first connected via ssh, I executed cd /, and there was access with sudo, then what happened happened. As a result, the teamlead got a ton of problems because of why the new employee was given access to the prod server and for his prank.

It must be a fancy image for the youtube channel only. After all these years, installing Arch and every other distro possible, in real life Average Linux User should be using dwm, st, mutt, ffmpeg and other cool progs. 😀 How come that you've got just a few aliases?

После 10 лет работы на arch + i3/dwm/st/mutt/тд, уже забиваешь на все если что-то ломается при обновлении, и просто ставишь обычную убунту/дебиан, чтобы просто работать и не страдать этими извращениями 😂

CopyQ is excellent. I have entire email templates saved in other CopyQ clipboard tabs so that I don't have to type them out.

Im linux Mint user - is there any tray app like in windows tray to hide most apps? all linux file manager are missing group file by type and sort by date on icon view.

Right click your panel and select applets. When applets pops up select the Download tab and type in tray, you should see collapsible systray. For Sort by date, type, etc. open Nemo and click on preferences under the edit tab.

@@_dev_null_ Thank you for the answer. Yes is little better now but still this is weird to find that option there. Still Windows manager is better, easy to change anything. I put group by type but plus put in invert setting because I like to new file to be on top. I'm still thinking that file manager in linux is too chaotic even with most of the option I found, without gaps between the different groups of files, but it's little better now. I will write later to Linux mint devs about my experience with the Mint , plus and cons of using and if there is any chance to change few things in the future.
