I have had all of these through the year but have about half of them as we speak between my 2 tanks. Only one missing in my option is the royal gramma. I have one in each tank and love the personality and a must in my tanks.

I have a yellow tail damsel, bangai cardinal, six line wrasse and a clown. Biggest jerk in the tank by far... The clown. I cant seem to put any new fish in the tank now because he is relentless with any newcomers. He will even bite me if I have to put my hand in the tank for something. Seems like fish just have their own personalities sometimes. Any suggestions for a way to add a new tank mate? And is there a suggestion for what kind of fish to try if I do?

I have a female yellow prawn goby that I named Cheryl 😂she’s such a great fish and kinda just keeps to herself. I love their permanent grump face! I’d also mention the striped blenny. Despite the venom, mine was very friendly and hung out with my flurry ocellaris clownfish a lot

I have had 4 of those fish. Couldn't keep the chromis ether. Currently have the clowns which are about 10 years old. They bullied the yellow tail damsels and killed them. Also have the bangie cardnal fish. Spot on with some of those. Haven't seen some of them in my LFS. But will keep looking. What are your thoughts on a blue tuxido urchen? I had one for years but it didn't survive the tank upgrade. I want another love the way they look.

Damsel fish are jerks but super hardy. I have a 4 stripe damsel in my pico 5.5g and he tore a hermit crab out of its shell and devoured it. That goes to say recently I had a over population of amphipods eating my zoa colonies dropped them in his tank and he decimated them. I have a friend that has e in his redsea and they dont seem to bother anything with enough space

When i was a more naive aquarist, the store got me to buy two damsels and a clownfish once my rank had cycled. One of the damsels literally tore apart the other damsel, and was chasing my poor clownfish around until he was pale from stress :( Tool me like 3 hours to catch that asshole to send him back.

Picked up a couple PJ cardinals a month or so ago, mostly because they were cheap at $8 a piece. Also got the Bangaii too at $10 each. (Man it's nice to have a LFS that has fish cheaper than online prices!) lots of cardinal fish are cheap right now too.

Damsel is a jerk, he/she is forever in the QT tank for corals. Also I agree on chromis, I had a school of 7, looked great, but they are fragile. I lost 4 to get that school level in QT and they have a special disease to them! So it’s hard to keep if LFS is infected!
