such flats are useless here; the moment u get out of ur house; there's kachra kundi, poverty, over crowded streets, potholes, immense pollution (air + noise), no law on streets, floods in monsoon, hijade politicians ka "aandolans/dangals", etc. and all other crap. These shitload of zero valued "over-priced" flats are actually 2-kaudi ke makaans; Mumbai has become a garbage city; Would never buy any home in Mumbai; even if someone offer me for free; At this 20- 30 crores price-tag; I would rather pack my bags and run out of India; settle in Dubai, Singapore, Australia or USA/UK for better life.

Somehow even if I had the money, I will not know what to do with these flats. I still cant understand their value. If I need to splurge will buy the one with 5 gardens. An army of poor will still be needed to pamper & serve the rich so behind every luxurious flat there is a hidden impoverished family. Mumbai has such a fast paced life. The trains are a horror and even with a car u get stuck in the traffic. So in that sense these flats can serve as luxurious jails. Will these skyscrappers survive earthquakes, floods, rising sea levels ? What is their carbon foot print ? These towers are energy guzlers for air conditioning and perhaps pay no attention to energy management & efficiency. I guess most of these flats are empty waiting for buyers. Even if its 7000 sq ft , few human beings will actually be living there. The things I like about Mumbai are its cash rich, beautiful girls & the vada pav.

Mumbai has extremely poor civic Infrastructure. Narrow roads, length of roads nit enough compared to no of vehicles, no grounds, open spaces, no water bodies, public library, parks with greenery, roads filled with pot holes, open man holes, poor public transport, most of the land is reclaimed by debris, during monsoon roads are under water. No law & order, safety & security for citizens. Mumbai is 7 th most polluted city in the world.
