I’d play Santa Seña Border Crossing over Taraq any day. Taraq feels like half of Grazna Raid after a K.E.M. Strike from ghosts went off on it.

I always love playing wasteland, a part of the beauty of mw2 is how predictable the game flowed as everybody went for nukes and the cave but that made finding enemies super easy. Worst map in MW2 was rundown. And I’d still play it over most maps from the last 4 cod.

Righteous, I prefer sub machines and handguns so I usually rushed the cave. Rundown was underrated imo eventho my cousin had got me tired of it because how often he picked for us to play on it. I really liked every map in MW2 though.

Rundown was pretty decent, derail and fuel were the worst. But most maps in mw2 were at least playable

Stonehaven on Ghosts, Turbine & Aftermath on BO2 (though I strangely miss them now.), & to an extent Overflow.

I loved Miami & Cartel. Miami, just stay in the building with a melee. Fun as hell. And holding the main building room in Cartel was chaotic and awesome

I still enjoyed the video but man was I ever disappointed to not see Downturn on this list. Always got depressed as hell when that map would pop up in rotation 😭

Honestly, i preferred Stonehaven over maps like Siege, Flooded, Chasm, and Stormfront. The problem with Stonehaven was that you spent more time running than you did shooting, but the other maps were just extreme camp fests with matches that often went to time limit due to so many random places that people like to sit at and the sheer amount of clutter on them (Seriously, just how many obscure places can you put yourself into on Flooded and Chasm?)

I liked Gustav cannon I get it was messed up but whoever held the cannon had the game then your time would try to get it while others flank and on local play you can do stuff like sniping or stealth

I'm honestly surprised black ops 2 aftermath didn't make it, I always skipped that map, was a pain in the arse, and the few games I completed of it, I died instantly

4:10 Euphrates bridge was basically made for sniping and that was mostly it. 6:10 Santa Sena Border is quite a maze with all those vehicles all over the place. Most of the action take place in the corridor. In fact the map is pretty much who can control the corridor. 7:50 good looking maps ultimately mean nothing if they don’t perform well gameplay wise.

I don't know of a single map in COD history that's had such a consistent and immediate hatred as Santa Sena Border Crossing (well, except Gustav Cannon). I haven't met anyone who's liked the map at all. Cool idea, but in practice it's an absolute chore.

I liked Freefall. The idea of the battlefield literally falling while playing was a cool concept, but tech limitations at the time couldn’t fully execute this properly.

Two maps that really grind my gears: Punta Mar from MW2 cause its such a campers map and Strike in MW2 for the same reason. I'd happily play Santa Sena cause the concept of all cars being able to blow up is quite unique and fun if you know how to exploit it
