Have you tried the Pensan IQ+plus 0.5 and 0.7mm ? The tip retracts into the body preventing accidental bending. Great for pocketing safely. I've got 8 of them. Enough for a lifetime. I have a Kurotoga original however and use this the most. It's lead efficiency feels like x2 or x3 more efficient. The kurotoga v2 is probably even more efficient as it rotates twice as much. I use the Pensan now for more expressive writing. Just need to make a cap for the kurotoga because it's not pocketable

I remember that when i was a kid and i was starting to get into art My uncle ,who was a painter, gave me the staedler mechanichal pencil and i didn't know what it was so i used it at school as a pen. Then i asked mybart teacher ad she explained me what it was Now im 16 yo and im in art school and whithout a mechanichal i would probably be lost and i appreciate that my uncle always encourage my work

Ive never seen these where I live so I can't give you a comparison. Although i do like the Pentel 200 series because of how durable and reliable it is. Its also great because it only costs $3 where i live.

Zebra colorflight is so bad, bought it as my first mechanical pencil, worked for probably a day and then the lead started to break in the tip of it, then I fixed it, then it wouldn’t pump out the lead, and then I just got frustrated, (keep in mind this happened like 3 days after I bought it) even if it was just the lead having some rare issue or something, it was pretty uncomfortable to write with for periods of 20m. I just ordered a uni gel 0.5mm with the kuru toga engine and it’s WAY better

I was wondering if u could help me with something, on the steadler mech pen there is up top a hb thingy. I also have that and i can rotate it and it says different things like HB , B B2 H2 and so on. Idk what to do with that

they don't do anything. They're just there for you to know which kind of lead you're using. For example you have an HB lead in, you twist it so it says HB and if you change the lead to for example 2B, then you also twist it to 2B

I know there's a way to make a mechanical pencil system that you are able to change leads without having to use a different mechanical pencil... kinda like those old school multicolored pens. That or Nobody has yet implemented such a useful tool... meh idk

Camlin techno mechanical pencil is best costs Rs100 with metallic body and premium feel. I have 11 nos 0.7 mm and 4 nos 0.5 mm. This pencil is now rare and you wont find it easily.
