First off yeah did they have some really heartwarming scenes but damn a lot of it was truly unrealistic. They were a good couple up until around later Season 6 and Most of 7 . Cory became a brat and Topanga let Cory basically do what he wants and she always came back to him .

For the first three great moments but definitely for the first two horrible build up like right after that they went back to barely caring for each other and Topanga was barely in seasons 1 and 2 . That was a really cute scene at Disney World but overall not a good episode . Yeah Cory and Topanga were a great couple but sometimes I believe the show kinda forced them back together instead of letting them find their ways back to each other by growing apart

I always hated how they were like "omg I've loved you since I was 6" or some shit when season 1, Cory didn't like her at all! There were soooooo many continuity errors in this show (their ages, Topanga's mom's name, Shawn's sister, etc.) that it was sometimes painful to watch.... Still love it, though lmao

Yeah they tried to correct it in the "A Long Walk To Pittsburgh: Part 2" episode where Cory says that they went through a phase he calls "the lost years" where Eric told him that basically girls were gross and so he started throwing dirt at her instead. I think that was them trying to fix things but there were so many other continuity errors that I'm noticing whilst re-watching it at the moment lmao!

Yeah their ages make no sense at all. Cory was a 6th grader in Season 1 (because the next season he starts Junior High to High School). In Season 4 he was a 10th grader (because he was able to drive). So he skipped like 2 years or something

A Long Walk to Pittsburgh was so special because back then there was no internet spoilers. We thought she may actually leave the show, which would have been beyond devestating. When cory opened the door and she was standing there in the rain, it was a huge relief. Also i think it made cory fully grasp just how much he loved and needed her. They say u never really appreciate what you until its gone.

90’s kids and older, who recalls when every show had a “Disneyland Episode?” Like when Full House did it? Michelle becomes princess for the day and then at the end John Stamos performed with The Beach Boys? And also, Bob Saget (RIP) says something or whatever the climax was for that episode is similar to the scene in Boy Meets World, where they’re at one of the Disney parks and they get back together and confirm with a kiss? Speaking Disney, who remembers that there were “Disneyland/disneyworld episodes? And it even wasn’t in their honorable mentions?!!!!

Girl meets world failed because it is nearly impossible to recreate the magic of the original show, and think about this, all the iconic moments that made Boy meets world so loved by all can't be used in girl meets world simply because those moments will never have the same impact they did the first time around. people will be quick to compare the two shows and point out the flaws and the things they feel could be done better, in short?? the shoes of boy meets world are just too big to fill.
