Hey bro thanks a lot for the vid! Hopefully you could clarify one thing about #2. Because I’m watching it over and over again and it’s not making sense to me. You mention sending vanish whenever you don’t have access to ambush, yet you send vanish with 3 pistol shot procs that could get you to ambush. A few seconds before that you find yourself in the same situation, but you decide to send pistol shots instead of using vanish. What is the difference between both situations? Cause I would’ve held onto vanish until I ran out of procs which is what I understand you’re saying in the voiceover. I am going crazy thinking about this because I don’t get why you do different things in the same situation a few seconds apart. Hopefully you understood what I meant and thanks a lot! ❤ Also sending dance at the end of your AR for max ambush/dispatch gcds is the way to go EVEN IF you have vanish off cd?

Ideally you would have planned to get ur cds out during your AR window. Also, i sent a pistol because pistol is 2cp which is all i needed to spend, vanish into ambush would have wasted 1 cp. Outlaw is about acting second by second and trying to make the best decision possible each second

Would like to ask a follow-up here as well, as its still not clear to me. Are you saying that when we're playing CTO, vanish is no longer use exclusively to "restart pistol shot procs" when we're not proccing? We should instead be using it close to on cooldown for increased CTO procs?

Great vid as always Churpie. Keep it up! I've a question for you. Who do you think is responsible for Explosives affix in a pug group? Outlaw rotation is so fast and dynamic I often see myself in a spot where is difficult to deal with them. Does this happen with you at all?

depends on the rating range - in high ratings its understood that the healer is primarily responsible for explosives, there are situations where others need to assist with them though, such as when more than 3 spawn at a time or during high damage events. In lower ratings, it's more of a group effort - I usually just right-click them to auto attack kill them instead of wasting energy on them. Sometimes I'll reluctantly send a pistol shot to kill one outside of melee range during damage events, but you need to make sure you dont have fth proc when you do that. The higher you climb, the more explosives will be killed by the healer, proportionally

i use 2 different kick buttons, but you could also use a macro modifier on a single button to swap between regular kick and focus kick. You always want to prio damage on whatever target is the most important, so sometimes that could be your stunned target, other times it might not be. Depends on the pull

hello churpie my favorite rogue :3 so i was playing sub rogue and i just changed to outlaw to see my damage with mastery gear in the dummies and i doing so much damage with main gauche and my outlaw is doing even more damage than my sub, main gauche always do more damage than pistol shots but not more than dispatch

yeah the issue with high mastery outlaw isnt that its low damage, its that it's RNG based dmg. If you high roll a man gauche proc every time you swing, its huge damage, especially in aoe with ambidexterity talented, however, vers>mast will give you more consistent dps on aoe and st which is why it is favoured over mastery.

depends on the key, week, and group comp. If you need more boss/st dam, take 2cto, its less on overall compared to 1cto and heavy hitter, but if youre playing with a DH and spriest for example, you dont need more aoe dam, so for the good of the group, you sac your overall to kill bosses or large mobs faster for the group

Not sure i fully understand your question. Mid fight your AR comes back up, you press it, then you use whatever cooldown you have avail that is the most efficient option to avoid having to use sinister strikes

Unless there was some sort of bug/issue when this was posted (which I am not aware there was) then it is 100% correct. It's going to give you the best output possible on a target dummy.

its called herorotation, but as pointed out in the video, it isnt 100% optimal - so you still need to know when to follow it, and when to go against it. its a fine learning tool, but far from perfect. if you want the settings i use for it, join the discord and check out the weakauras and addons channel, i have my settings linked in there

These were good tips, I spent hours figuring out weak auras and fine tuning to make short audible cues for when my AD rush/BTE come off cd, nice SND and BF depleting bars. Tip 6 especially for M+ gimping peoples' damage - Another is take deft maneuvers in M+, shadowstep is plenty and the extra 2 yards i find to be amazing for zoning puddles without interruption. A RTB weak aura is pretty damn important too with an audible, can be so chaotic that a horn or some sound will get you to reroll in the chaos.

That is "optimal" to hold your cds till you have nothing left, but it you always play like that, while using CTO you are losing overall damage because youre not farming buffs when you could be.

If you sim ignoring Opp Procs for Vanish it’s a slight damage loss. So the rule that says use vanish regardless of opp procs is wrong.

yeah, i know what the sims say, but lets think about the pros and cons of using your vanish/shadowstrike for procs - cons: if not used correctly, you can run dry and end up sinister striking a lot more than necessary by not being conservative with your cds. since we arent running gsw, our pistol procs have lower damage contribution overall pros: you get the haste benefit from take em by surprise you get more buffs which lead to overall better energy eco and the chance to roll skull and cross bones for even more procs and double ambush/ss procs theoretically, you can go an entire pull without needing to dance or vanish just rotating your pistol and ambush procs, right? if the average pull in an m+ setting last a minute to a minute and a half and your just cyclign procs while sitting on your cds, you are losing all of that haste benefit from take em by surprise, as well as the nightstalker benefit for 8% damage increase, leading to energy starvation, not utilizing your the entirety of your kit to maximize dps, and less rtb buffs so you can argue the sims for it, but there is no way that sitting on your cds is a dps increase in the aforementioned scenario. In the video i also demonstrate how when you cycle your vanish->sd->vanish, you are very likely to have your AR back up immediately or close to immediately after this rotation of cds which means more haste and a free double buff from loaded dice which will be acquired even slower by sitting on cds. You can't generate the same amount of CP by pistol shotting since it only gives 2p per usage with a proc (without the broadside buff) meanwhile ambush gives 3 baseline which leads to more finishers, and more cdr as a result and also benefits from skull and crossbones as well as broadside which leads to only needing 1 gcd or building per finisher. Hope this offered some insight behind the reasoning for why I play outlaw this way :)

Hey, theres a reason i made it the most common mistakes ahaha I'm not a huge pvper, usually only push up to duelist each season then i afk from it. However, with pvp, you definitely play your cds differently. Vanish is used differently, cloak and evasion can be used offensively in low rating to just steamroll your enemies with no counterplay, just a different kind of game really

@@ChurpieTv Fury warrior doesn't have pistol shot, or pirate cosmetics or themes. If blizzard keeps removing sht in wow, their subscriber count will just keep disappearing, lmao. That's one of the reasons they're at the point they're at now, actually... But i guess blizzard never learns... They're slowly turning Outlaw into Subtlety, now my reason to play the game, is gone... I like pirate themed stuff, not Ninja-themed stuff (Subtlety), not Assassin themed stuff... I like Pirate theme, i don't give a flying fck about anything else. If i CAN be efficient as a pirate, i will attempt it, but if that emans resorting to Ninja-themed nonsense, i'll just cancel my subscription, i guess. : / What the fck are blizzard thinking, man? Instead of giving outlaw all these r-tarded subtlety abilities, they should finally focus on giving them parry-based mechanics, or acrobatic-based mechanics... You know, actual swashbuckler things. Instead, their profound lack of creativity make them turn it into a discount subtlety spec. It's actually just insulting, it means they're replacing what could be meaningful choices, with ILLUSION of choice, instead. So yeah, i'm out.

@@MyouKyuubi i dont think you're super far of the marker. 10.1 has disillusioned a lot of rogue players, myself included. that being said, 10.2 outlaw plays super quickly and i find it to be the msot fun ive had playing outlaw eve, and our main spender is now BtE, so it's kinda "piratey". There are a lot of rogue elements in the kit, but i mean, it is a rogue spec, so it kinda makes sense. Sad to see you go, but maybe when you see my 10.2 videos it will encourage you to play again :)

@@ChurpieTv I've seen what 10.2 has to offer... Yeah, it does damage, sure... it does lots of damage. But it's not "pirate-damage", it's "ninja-damage"... Raw damage alone, isn't enough to keep me interested, the WAY said damage is delivered, is 100% of the game for me, it might make YOU happy, but i'm not so easily pleased. : / Stay frosty, bro!
