the most amazing fact about perez is that since 2012 he never had a car to even fight for wins, he still outperformed his car almost every season, he gave force india hope for years, a team that only had 1 podium in belgium 2019, at the end of 2020 season the now renamed racing point was going to replace him in 2021 for Vettel, his carrer was over until he won the penultimate race after starting p20 due to collision with leclerc at the start of the race, the circuit was bahrain but with a new layout, even like that he managed to overtake almost the entire field to win his firse race in 10 years and secure a rb seat in 2021 where he got another win, he came from the absolute bottom and his efforts were rewarded

The last one was probably so emotional for him he got his first win from getting pushed to the back of the grid and he didn't know if he was going to be racing this year since his last race i am so glad Redbull picked him up I love Alex but Perez was a way better choice I mean have u seen his results this year

Checo is my favorite driver. He's a wholesome dad but still goes for it when needed. I'm glad Rebull picked him up. I also share missing the pink car (and the yellow Renault, though the Alpine does look good.) He got a podium his home race this year as well.

Thanks for reacting to this. He never had a car capable of challenging for the championship 11:17 Sergio was initially contracted till 2023, and then he was dropped by racing point in 2020 for Sebastian.

That move you love where they intentionally go wide and then cut up the inside is called a Switchback. You go wider but you get to accelerate in a straight line longer than the other car so you get a better exit

He had Alonso that time in Sepang, he was going much faster but when he was closing up the Sauber principal sent him a message implying that they were happy with the points from 2nd position... everybody knew the team didn´t want to ruin their engine deal with Ferrari.

It was an emotional rollercoaster for him and the fans alike as we all were happy for Perez getting that maiden win but also equally gutted for George.
