I always love seeing the WRC+ cars on hill cllimbs because it just shows how insanly fast they are for their power/weight ratio even when they are restricted, but a derestricted one with 650+hp? Thats just beautiful.

The seriousness and investement on this build is insane we have to say. And the 650+Hp mark is just the very beginning. Rumours are the upper limits for it are over 850Hp...

Yeah thats absolutely crazy, but the car can probably get the power down. Is it still the WRC engine, just not with 1.6 liters anymore?

@@bett431 Nope, 1.6L Engine no more in any way. It is using a Smith & Jones 2.0L Engine (based on the cosworth YB but built in Aluminium) and the whole chassis had to to be adapted to fit the bigger engine.

I wanna correct you but pete has done some upgrades to his cars and has reached 600hp at least as i know so don't use the 530hp mark and has also put a new sequential gearbox since last year

I cannot stand hearing so many cars breaking up because they're running so goddamn fat. Pull some fuel from the map genius!!! Lean is mean!!! BTW, that red & white evoVIII driver was fuggin squared away. Dude has skills. And that BMW powered Capri. My god is that car dialed. Y'all see him backing it in 2nd to last corner? The car just floated perfectly in and with just a tiny bit of wheel manipulation and a dab of left foot braking on throttle, her ass rotates, her weight transferred over the rear wheels exactly where it was supposed to, just tand on it and let 'er eat from there. What a car. 500hp from an N/A 3.1 liter I6 that screams to 10,000rpm. So badass.

The truth is that they are only racing themselves. There is no completion the latest years. A lot of them arent skilled drivers, you can tell from a lot of things. Hillclimb in Greece is like "if yo in see one, youve seen it all"...
