I’m a metalhead and I enjoy rap so I went to a rap concert where a “mosh pit” was enticed and most of it was jumping around, I remember being directly next to it and one guy started shoving as one does in a real mosh pit and a massive fight broke out. These are cool and all, as long as you’re having fun, but no way these people would survive at a metal show. They’re more intense but people aren’t as easily ticked off as when shoved around.

i will say, it's not uncommon for rappers to jump into the moshpit themselves. The moshing at hip hop shows is much more amicable for an artist to jump into the pit and have fun themselves while at rock shows y'all are saying "i almost died lmao".
