An attack helicopter is an armed helicopter with the primary role of an attack aircraft, with the offensive capability of engaging ground targets such as enemy infantry, military vehicles and fortifications. Due to their heavy armament they are sometimes called helicopter gunships.
Attack helicopters can use weapons including autocannons, machine guns, rockets, and anti-tank missiles such as the AGM-114 Hellfire. Some attack helicopters are also capable of carrying air-to-air missiles, though mostly for purposes of self-defense against other helicopters and low-flying light combat aircraft.
A modern attack helicopter has two primary roles: first, to provide direct and accurate close air support for ground troops; and second, the anti-tank role to destroy grouped enemy armor. Attack helicopters are also used as protective escort for transport helicopters, or to supplement lighter helicopters in the armed reconnaissance roles. In combat, an attack helicopter is projected to destroy targets worth around 17 times its own production cost before being destroyed.

The Apaches were good at fighting shepherds and donkeys on the mountain paths, but no one had yet seen them in a real war. The Apaches are built on an outdated base, they don't even have an ejection system. I'm afraid that, given the practice today, the leading helicopter is the Ka-52, it is newer and has really proven itself in the most grueling battles

The war in gaza is one-sided. Every weapon used by lsrael can not be judged to be effective in battle because hamas lack the necessary counter measure weapons. Ukraine is an advanced battle situation. Russia against NATO. EVERY counter measure weapons were supplied to Ukraine by the Western Nations. Yet Ka-52 destroyed leopard and the challenger main battle tanks. Ka-52 is waiting for the Abrahm tanks and Apache helicopter to encounter them in real battle situations. Theoretical descriptions do not apply in real war situations.

The Eurocopter tiger of France and Germany is a colossal flop. A very expensive contraption that has been recently abandoned by Germany itself. Of the 147 present in Europe, only 9 are able to take off, and of these 9, it is not known how many can fight. The most dangerous helicopter in Europe and beyond is the Italian AW129 Mangusta, it can even hold its own against the most updated American Apache. The only realistic thing in the video are the two Russian helicopters that stand out among the top 4, they are indeed valid.

Burada ki helikopterlerin çoğu kendini muharebe alanın da kanıtlamamış. Silahsız sivillere karşı kullanılmış helikopterlerin bazılarını en iyisiymiş gibi göstermek taraflı bir yaklaşımdır. Senin derdin ne savaş helikopterinden savaş uçağı meziyetleri beklemek elmadan kavun tadı beklemekle aynı ve tam anlamıyla saçmalık. Hava hava muharebesi mi? Hadi ama, oldu olacak kıtalar arası balistik füze yeteneği de olsun!

I doubt that any of these helicopters are designed to act in an anti-helicopter role. The main threat to the Apache would therefore probably be SAMs.

Lol. Le monsieur est américain donc logique ! Personnellement je suis français et j’aime le Tigre mais je ne vais pas le défendre cette fois. Je trouves le Z-10 très intéressant sur beaucoup de points. Les points les plus importants pour un hélicoptère de combats sont l’avionique de bord, la manœuvrabilité et l’emport d’armement. Il faut trouver un juste milieu.

None of the above mentioned is capable of high altitude combat but HAL's helicopters can do.

Maximum service ceiling is not the only criterion that makes a good helicopter. Only 15 HAL Prachands have been delivered so far, and it's also even glier than the Apache.
