They chose that blastoise instead of the base set as that one would have dominated the standard format at the time. Rain dance blastoise would have been one of the only decks played when the set was printed. The other 2 werent very playable to begin with so werent a big deal. I remember seeing that and asking the same thing years ago but Im sure WOTC didnt want to deal with that backlash for the game... which was already on a steady decline at this point. Alakazam damage swap wasnt that good since there was no chansey type pokemon that was viable and the neo era stuff was already doing well at the time.

So question. A while back you had a psa 10 no rarity Charizard in your video. But when I look it up on psa it says a psa 10 of that card doesn't exist. How does that work?

One of my most regretful moments was opening up a legendary pack and pulling out a reverse holo charizard and thinking, “nice, but this is just a common card.” I found it again many many years later stuffed in a tin protected only with a penny sleeve with a light bend in the corner 😢

My non reverse holo zard is in super good condition, just has a small amount of silvering on the edges and the tiniest white mark on one of the back corners. I hate how psa 9 is like 1.5k and psa is like 25k. Do you guys think its worth sending the zard in on the offchance it gets a 10?
