I want to share mine too! 1/2 小半/我怀念的 these two were amazing vocal performances that showcased all of the participants’ (trainees that performed) skills 3 戒烟 all the mentors and trainees’ performances were outstanding and pleasant to see however this particular one stood out the most for me personally. The stage set up and the mood was breathtaking. 杨非同’s sudden rap shocked me especially how beautifully it was done. 4 firewalking I don’t know if this needed to be explained. The stage was magnificent! The trainees used the props (the chairs) in a efficient way to catch the audiences’ attention. 5 can’t stop team a I loved both groups honestly speaking...however, 郑锐彬 happens to be in team a therefore I chooses team a rather than b. No mind in doubt he stood out to me although 范丞丞 was the center. Jeffrey on the hand (team b’s center) caught my attention as he is one of my most favored trainee(s) and had improved extremely well. 6 dream 范丞丞 & Justin’s rap was wow. The meaning of the song was powerful and uplifting for those who are facing struggles. It’s a relatable song especially for the youth. The reason may be that all the trainees are either in their teens or early 20’s however there are certain exceptions (let’s not name names, haha). 7 mask I’m gonna be hella bias here. Out of 艺兴’s Sheep album, mask happens to be my favorite track. I’m salty that 锐彬 hardly got any lines and screen time. Fight me but that boy is hella talented. 8 Very Good I’m not sure how many people actually remembers this performance but it tells the story of every 4 trainees that had performed. I was highly touched and I’m sure many also were. I was happy that they went all personal and expressed themselves! 9 爱你 Kimberly’s original version has stuck in my head even before they had performed it. I used to play the song constantly and when the 4 of them performed it, they made it like it was their’s. The interaction with the fans brought tears to my eyes since I wasn’t psychically there. Tbh, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of all of them! Outfit goals! I’m choosing to end at #9 for the group Nine Percent. However as I was getting towards the end of the list, I realized I missed a song COUGH COUGH. I didn’t know what to change so if anyone can guess which performance it was, THANK YOU for thinking that song is amazing. I also loved majority of the performances because the artists they covered were also some of my favorites. If you need any Chinese song suggestions, let me know - I got you’ll. I did not expect it to be this long but thanks for reading if anyone reads!
