Frost has always been super popular imo, they were just never expensive until people realized the value of them being a Walgreen’s exclusive release [a retailer that isn’t very widespread or well visited unless you have to refill prescriptions with them, or it’s the only choice of convenience store around]. Speaking from firsthand experience though, the hype surrounding Frost was apparent from the first time the community got a glimpse at them, at least in the old Amino forums that is. That popularity has only been amplified because they’re now considered a “rare collector’s item”
