I found that people really want a car that looks good or one that they're familiar with. I have a Cadillac XTS and a Genesis 3.8 that books out every weekend.. I make about $1000 profit on the cars together. I'm also from Houston, so people are always looking for or needing a ride... Hopefully I can purchase better cars down the line so that I can make a bigger profit with less cars.. 8 to 10 cars is my limit..

I’ve hosted over 8500 trips and it’s no surprise the Corolla is up there. Easy to own, easy to maintain and easy to rent. I’ve had over 20 Corollas listed on the platform and they’re always booked. I can get over $80 per day during peak seasons and adjust down during slow months. Very versatile car to have on the platform.

@mod51502 жыл бұрын
Hawaii market. As a sedan it can seat 4 adults, great trunk space, and most renters are familiar with a small sedan. The maintenance is super easy and affordable and I just love renting out Corollas. Exit strategy is also simple because of the robust used car market for Corollas. They maintain their value so it’s not uncommon for me to rent a Corolla for 2-3 years and sell the car for 60-70% of my purchase price.

I actually asked a lot of my renters why they like the corolla. They like it because it is literally just the most basic car. They know it's reliable cause it's a Toyota, they know it's fuel efficient (especially my hybrid version) and they know it's easy to drive. Your car matters for which customer target you’re going with. Luxury or sports cars are rented by locals and young people who wanna experience things they don’t have while big suvs and minivans are mostly rented by family trip people or people traveling from out of state. Cars will most likely get abused since people “drives like a rental”
