Chennai is the 4th city with GDP. Why it is less than Bangalore? Reason is most of the industrial and IT areas are Outside the Chennai city it wont come under Chennai Corporation it will be under near district Kanchipuram and thiruvallur. If they added these areas like sriperumber(industrial area), Srisuri,Tambaram and shollingalur ( IT areas). Chennai gdp will be more than 110 billion for sure.

Doesn't matter, we need to keep growing but at a faster pace, to become rich. We need to grow ruthlessly like China did. I see Chinese cities and I feel soo envy and ashamed that why are we not that developed if not more. Historically we have controlled atleast 25 percent global GDP and trade, why are we not grabbing our rightful place as China did and just in around 30 or 40 years of time. Please grow faster. Appreciate whatever is coming and please don't protest against everything. Be wiser and don't act like barbarians.
