Automated ARK is also great! A lot of quality life stations too. I especially love the generator. It’s essentially a gas-powered TEK generator.

i usally play with these mods: -s+ (for things like s+beehive or torches who dont require wood) -super spyglass (awesome is to op for me, kinda ruins the game) -bridges (so cool bridges, really lets bases look good) -ultra stacks (mostly for storage capacity and spoil timer on things like prime meat have stacks of 2000) -dino storage v2(better cryopods, really cool and you dont have cryosickness and dead dinos if you forget about them)

There should be no issue with flyers. Idk why we can’t upgrade their speed to 150% or so. I don’t really like the crystal clear water mod. Takes too much immersion out of the game. Great video zed files. Been subbed to you since the beginning

Flyers with pumped movement are pretty overpowered in PVP, but Ark should give us the option to turn on levelled movement speed for PVE players. Yeah fair enough with Crystal Clear hahha, and thanks!

Is the demo gun and other s plus items for admin of the server only? Or can other players use them? Why are your pc specs? How much ram do you have?

The demo gun and all the S+ items are for all players of the server, not just the admin. My laptop is pretty bad, it was a GTX 1060 graphics card and 16GB of ram. Once I save up enough money I’ll buy and make a new custom-built PC.

@Zeth Phillips haha nice! Yes your laptop should be able to run it fine. It’s possible to play on Epic and High graphic settings however your frame rate will be 30 and below.

I had an issue with Crystal Clear causing game to crash with a kernel32 error. Seems some systems get this and others do not. Should you start having kernel32 errors while using this mod try removing it and use another mod like Super Clear Water, which fixed the crashes for me.

Damon Liendo I’m not sure, you’ll have to look around. The mod pages on the Steam community have a Discussion tab where there is usually a post, in the post there’s a lot of people advertising their servers.

On the mod page it says there is compatible and non-compatible mods (steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/895711211/133261370014701242/). You can try putting the mod as the first mod, and if that doesn't work there's another mod that does the same thing called Naj's Speedy Flyers (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1083349027). I hope one of these solutions work!

I have a question, i downloaded the mod high levels, but how can you actually change the levels? Because my dino’s are still the same level as before. Is there some kind of menu where i can change that?

Yeah as nejc said. If you got the Custom Levels mod (the newer version of the High Levels mod) you will need to edit the .ini files.

I just checked the mod page and yeah it seems the mod stopped working, it probably needs to be updated again. The Creature Finder Deluxe mod might work, but it hasn't been updated in a while either so it might have the same issues. Hopefully the mods developers update the mods soon

For me mods don't work I load into ark wait for them to be done downloading then I turn the mods on and load into a map and it just goes to a black screen and says something failed and kicks me out of ark anyway you know what to do.

Most likely it is your load order. Large complex mods which make large changes should be the first to load. In my case that is Primal Fear, and then the PF expansions in release order. Beware of using more than one major mod that reworks large parts of the game, they usually conflict with each other. Then the Stacking mod I use (Stacks for Humans). Then the other mods that are adding new items (Awesome Teleporters! / Spyglass etc) and visual changes like Super Clear Water (Crystal Clear caused kernel32 crash issues for me when dinos died, not every time, but I found out from a post in forums, hasn't crashed since i swapped). Also, do NOT change your stacking mod mid-play unless you want to lose much of your stored materials. Did that once and lost all the vanilla things the stack mod altered that were in S+ Dedicated storage. So the wood, stone, flint, crops, raw/cooked meat, etc all vanished, had to pick up and put the dedicated storage back in place to reset them so they would work again.

Not sure, the Upgrade Station mod works well on maps for upgrading your tools, weapons and armour. Better Beacons 2.0 could work too

You can only use mods on a server if that server also has the mods installed. You can find unofficial servers that use mods, but I'm not sure if you can on the Epic Games version. There's a KZbin tutorial by RemusGT (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXrGpo2ehMubjrc on how to install mods for the Epic Games version of Ark. Good luck!

Are you sure Upgrade Station is the mod causing the problem? If it is, try uninstalling and reinstalling the mod from Steam. If it still doesn’t work try commenting on the Upgrade Station mod page, the mod developer or someone else might be able to help you there

Make sure you’re on PC Steam, subscribe to the mods, let them download in Steam, launch Ark and let them download in Ark, add them to your active mod list and then you can play with them. If you’re playing on someone else’s server then they’re not going to work unless they also have them.

The dodo on the nest is a structure called the Hatchery, and it incubates eggs inside of its inventory. It is from the Structures Plus mod.

Ark has the built in Procedural Ark world that you can play on. The map is semi-randomly generated so it’ll look very different from the same old official maps, but I don’t think the land is infinite and the worlds are very glitchy. The experience is definitely not as good as playing on the official maps.

The Epic Games version of Ark can actually still get access to mods, the process is just a little more complicated. I’ve never tried it myself before so I can’t say for sure that this works, but try following RemusGT’s video and tell me how it goes (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXrGpo2ehMubjrc). Good luck!

After you type in the command in the command box and press enter / activate it, the command will take effect. So if you typed in “gamma 3” and activated it, then you’d immediately notice your game being brighter.

It's because I'm in creative mode using the "gcm" command. Make sure not to use it on your survival mode character though because you'll learn every engram.

What do you mean by Microsoft version? If you mean Xbox, no. Unfortunately you can’t get mods on console or mobile currently. If you mean on PC, both on Steam and Epic Games, you can get mods.

The biggest problem I have is I'm not sure what mod to put in what order. I normally play on console but wanting to switch over to the steam version

Mods that change already existing parts of the game should be added first. So for example, the Stack Me More mod changes an aspect of the game that already existed, the weight of items, so you would put that mod at the top. Mods that add completely new things, like the Awesome Spyglass mod, which just adds a new item, can be put at the bottom of the list.

Yeah, but modded maps are seperate from the mods list. They're found under the Custom Arks header, the same spot as maps like Ragnarok and Valguero.
