Im gonna be tring Spinner of Souls in my Henzie deck. I run Evolutionary Leap and the fact that I can get that on a creature where I'm already blitzing out creatures and saccing them means I don't need to hold up mana for Leap. In addition, this can come back with reanimation like Living Death, trigger cards like Beast Whisperer and at its floor is a 3 mana 4/3 with Reach seems really good

I feel like because Sphinx of Forgotten Lore has flash, you can hold up counter magic and have this as an additional option. I think it's maybe a little better than we might initially think.

Valkyrie’s Call seems like a slam dunk in Shilgengar. Sac outlet in the command zone that loves sacrificing Angels.

Only problem is that it only returns them if they're not angels in the first place. Shilgengar wants to basically play as Angel tribal so it doesn't really synergise with most of the cards in the deck.

Tbh Im super excited to build the new Kykar, I'm shelling out for full art foil because it's the prettiest magic card I've ever seen. Plus it's a slow blink so a little more interesting to make it work. Sphinx fits into that build decently well Just kinda sucks that I literally do not care about the lands AT ALL

Im getting that Valkyries call for my zur eternal schemer deck. If he makes it a creature and it dies it just comes back as a normal enchantment. Cause when it leaves the battlefield and comes back it loses the creature part of it and thus also loses the angel type, but keeps the counter and flying part.

I'm not super high on the rune Mage vs emeritus. It's 1 more mana, and at least in my spellslinger deck, not many of my spells have generic mana to make use of the reduction. If it was 1 blue instead of 1 generic less, that might be worth running

I don't think it's a stretch to say blasphemous edict is a top 5 wipe ever printed. Sacrifice is just so good at making sure things die. Probably will go in most of my decks with black if I want to play a wipe in addition to deluge (fingers crossed it isn't a pricey chase card like the conqueror...).

So i think if you activate lute on turn six after drawing your opening hand and 1 card per turn for 6 turns its puts the top 6 cards at around 6.977% of your library.... 😅

Lunar insight is a great spell at any time tbh it isnt hard to have a 1 drop, 2 drop and a 3 drop on curve, turn 4 you play a 0 cost artifact or have a token of any type and you draw 4 for 3 mana!?
