bought a pair of 9060's over a year ago and they insantly became my favorite sneaker of all time. Since then i bought 5 more pairs of New Balance, all of them are fantastic. The quality for the price is just multiple times better than Adidas or especially Nike, that's facts

I'm 38 and in the same boat as you are. You are definitely get clowned if you wore NB in school during the 90s and 2000s. If it wasn't Nike J's or Timbs you skating on thin ice with any other brands. Millennials and Gen X Set what was trendy during our Youth and now Gen-Z has control of the Wheel of what is trendy now. Also back in our day if you had on fly shoes it was a must to have the Clothes that matched the shoes. Gen-Z on the other hand don't give AF about dressing a certain way with their fresh pair of trendy kicks. They are wearing whatever with a fresh pair and it is mind blowing to see the changes lol

Just grabbed the NBs 1906R, and they're seriously dope - sleek design and super comfy. Also, gotta shout out the Asics Gel-Kayano 14, rocking that 2000s aesthetic like the 1906R with the same comfort level. Highly recommend both kicks!!

Just got the ASICS Gel-1130 which is also another great pick I think, and is almost always less expensive than the Kayano. Can’t go wrong though with any of those.

the 9060's are not bad by any means, I got them as beaters for over a year now. But now that it's getting colder, I feel like these don't really keep your feet warm. The're good shoes but I got kinda tired of them. That's why I need some new beaters such as the reimagined breds. Great video obviously btw.

Bro u need to wear and review the hierro v7 now v8… I have the v7 gortex and there the most comfortable running shoe I’ve ever had. 1080v12 felt like way to much sole. Felt like I was gonna brake an ankle or fall. Definitely soft just not for me

9060, 2002R, 1906, 580 and so forth. Quality > Quantity and the color blocking is always a hit rarely a miss. Like the Ganni x NB 1906 "Yellow"?? That shoe still sell out on release.

Well the traction of the 9060 is non existence as it was so flat and slick. I slipped on a slick rainy pavement, ripped a pair of good pants and bruised my knees so can't agree with your top choice here. But the 1906 is indeed amazing and I will go and check out the WRPD Runner today.

The 1080 unlaced slip on version was a flop, but by far the most comfortable easy going all day wearing comfort with fresh foam X. And the 2002 did a mule version Collab with SNS and end clothing. Couple wild versions out there.

W video as always, Elliot! I do have a hot take though. The nb 999 model is one of, if not the best of the 990 series in my opinion. It’s been a solid 5 years or more since any of the very select few KZbinrs have reviewed it. I’ve got 3 pairs and counting! The 30th anniversary of the model is in 2 years, hopefully we’ll see another one then. If you ever review them or get a pair, I’ll be the first one to click, haha
