The fairness of UFL isn't about the free to play aspect it's about the dynamic difficulty of fifa ultimate team, where EA just makes it super easy to score in the 90'th minute to equalise and stuff like that

your Path of Exile 2 description is very outdated :D, it will be only 3 acts in Early access, and story is 20 years after the first game, and the endgame is different, its a true sequel now, not just a big patch for PoE1 like they thought it was gonna be :)

I've not played any football games but I imagine fair is contextual. If they kept the same card purchasing but the game was free every year that would be 'more' fair. Or if they kept the card purchasing but the purchases carried over year after year, that would be 'even more' fair. Or it could be the matchmaking (again never played a football game,) I understand companies often use manipulated matchmaking to 'encourage' purchases. What do you think it will be as people that actually play the game/s?

At this point, from what I know about fifa, is that it is rather difficult to make it more unfair and monetized without losing all your costumers, but somehow they always finds a way. I am so glad I don't play sports games, the current state of that genre is horrendous.

I never got to play Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver back in the day, when I was a kid. I'm so excited to finally get a chance to play these games after all these years.

The LoK franchise made me a gamer forever. Maybe watch a video about the story of the first game, Blood Omen (or get it from GoG or Playstation) before playing both Soul Reavers. Not mandatory, but it just give a lot more context about Kain. It's still my favourite story in any media format, and the voice actors are so good. 😀

My family and friends will be worried by my radio silence when Marvel Rivals comes out. Ive played both the Alpha and Beta and for a hero shooter. It was one of the most polished and smooth experiences I've ever had. Almost no bugs, decently optimized, and each marvel character FEEL genuine and sticks to the fantasy that the character brings. NetEase has done an AMAZING job so far! If your enjoy Overwatch, do not sleep on Marvel Rivlas. Its truly the only competition that Overwatch has ever had. And competition is a good thing.

Gaming has been in a slump for most of the year...I mean look at the 2024 Game of the Year nominees for The Game Awards. Find a main game you can play for 1000 hours. Some folks have Fortnite and Apex Legends. Some folks have CoD or FFXIV. Some have Dota 2. AAA gaming is a sad state

I am cautiously optimistic for Indiana Jones. Definitely going to be checking that one out since it's going to be on game pass I don't know I want to be excited for path of exile too but I kind of found the first one to be a bit overwhelming with the skill tree. But I'm glad there's an alternative to Diablo considering Diablo is a little hit or miss these days

I feel like they only point of Diablo 4 is to clear dungeons faster and faster...It's a math game. I think from what I can tell, POE2 provides more things to do? I hope so, because once you realize the time wasted on Diablo 4 for little reward in return, I don't want to just do math. So what Elon Musk cleared in a dungeon in 2 minutes...lol.

Anytime I see a "VR exclusive game" I ask WHY? Virtual reality is a small niche and VR games are expensive to make. I guess the publishers and developers do not care about making money.

You cant make really VR games work on flatscreen (although some do, and I really like when its mixed like that), otherwise they would. VR will never grow without people making good games for it and standalone is getting to the point where it can run games well enough to get the average person interested. Ultimately though, I think devs arent letting go of VR because its so damn cool, and I'm so grateful for that.

Path of Exile 2 is no longer parallel with Path of Exile 1. It is an all-new, all-separate sequel set 20 years after the events of Path of Exile 1. About 2 years ago, they separated them because the new engine is incompatible with the old engine, has all-new rigs for animation and is vastly superior to the old way of doing things. You might want to change how it's portrayed. Also, the Early Access is 3 acts with 2 difficulties until full release. They made the wise decision to focus on endgame over getting the campaign completed. Furthermore, there are 2/3 of the ascendancies on 3/4 of the classes that will be available upon full release. Please make a correction. There are 2 videos you need to watch: Path of Exile 2 endgame showcase, and Ziggy D Q&A. Also, the release day of PoE 2 Early Access is December 6th, not the 5th.
