So, my first 2 charakters are Mace and Fives. I thought:" Yeah Mace is so strong in the Films etc., he will easily defend every enemie; second the clones are the greatest charakters in the whole universe and yeah of course my favourites in SW. I played 3.5 months very actively and about 6 months rely passive, now I have Seargent and Fives 7* and the shop guys 4* to 5* . In the last week I got Shaak Ti, now she is 2*, gear 8 also the others have speed (the Seargent crit dmg) and gear 8-9 ...now I only feel waiting for some clones appear in the shop...

Quick tip on the guild thing: Do not join the starter guild! You will find very quickly that you going to have to stop progress in the hopes you finish a raid because if you meet the requirements while in the raid, it will throw you to the next tier and you dont get any rewards.

High focus is important. Credits are hard to come by in the early game, so only increase levels for your core characters. Also, find friends in high places. Having allies with 7 star level 85 characters will help you get past light side / dark side battles as well as some of the challenges.

When I started a little over a year ago, I was begging for a video to help me develop "healthy habits" in game to maximize my opportunity to progress. Your tips about crystal energy refreshes are exactly what I mean. I'd also like more info on some of the following items: 1) Using crystals to refresh LS/DS nodes: do it, don't do it, how many times, etc 2) More about mods: healthy habits, rules of thumb, etc 3) Balancing shard/blueprint farming and gear farming: how many toons/ships should you farm at the same time, when should you switch to gear farming, passively?, actively? 4) Store habits: what should you always/never buy? 5) Hoarding: are there amounts of certain gear and currency you should always try to keep on hand for emergencies? 6) Gearing: how do you decide when to gear a toon that shares gear with another toon you are working on or one that uses especially valuable gear like carbantis, stun guns, etc? 7) Reading a toon's kit/using a new toon: this goes to basic squad building and theory crafting, also can be useful in learning to use a new squad after you unlock it. There's more, I'm sure, and I would enjoy being able to go into some more detail because I think you have a real opportunity to help a lot of players, but KZbin is not the best forum. Seriously wasn't expecting another video in this series so fast. Amazing tip about changing the payout timer, I'm at lvl 85 and 1.8k GP and didn't know about that. I was also very interested to learn that you use most of your standard refreshes for gear. 2 videos in and already helping me fine tune my play. I think a lot of these seemingly basic tips are so far in the past for you, Han, Mobile and Warrior that it just never occurs to you guys to mention them because after all this time they seem so ingrained into the game you'd think everyone must already know them. This is such a well timed guide lol I just got into this game and I’m level 37 at the moment and was trying to figure out the best way to go about reaching end game stuff. Although I’m not exactly f2p, I went ahead and bought the Darth sidious bundle and he’s been carrying me through some of the early stuff lol. The tip about what to spend crystals on is actually a really good point though. I sort of figured out, on my own even, that the best thing to do with crystals is to refresh your energy, and it’s cool to see my thought process was validated by someone that has played this game a ton :3

If I remember correctly though, darth sideous is a solid early game character that’ll definitely carry you a long way, but darth Vader is a more useful character in the long run. Plus, Vader is going to be an easier character to get 7 stars. Hope that helps!

I like the whole refresh energy thing but if you’re a low level and your in an older shard where you aren’t near the top of any arenas saving up for the raid gear is also a decent idea

Hi Ahnald, I started new account recently, going old Phoenix route. What I think is the best thing to do - do not buy regular energy for crystals, but go for cantina energy instead. You don't get as much battles and xp out of it, but it does not matter because with 50 crystal refreshes you are still limited to 5 attempts a day. But in cantina, you can get character up to 7* much much faster, and that is all that matters. That will give you edge in the arena, not having several 5* characters you cannot use effectively. That beeing said - it is known that first chromium pack you buy when game suggests it will give everyone guaranteed character. I got unlocked 2* Greedo now, so not much of a win, but still usefull.

A big key for galactic war is to NOT level up leader skills for non leaders especially those in your squad arena teams. Your Galactic war difficulty is based on the GP of the last team you used to win in Squad Arena. And another tip is try to get as many higher level allies you can. It does nothing for the middle or end game teams but helps new players a lot.

One thing I regretted not having done by level 85 was being able to sim Galactic War. You must complete it 50 times and be level 85 to sim it. The level of difficulty scales with your level. If you wait until 85 (like me) you can get stuck on the last node with an impossible team to beat like Jedi Knight Revan led Jedi - I got stuck several times. Crush it early and often!

I’m level 58, but I’m really a noob because I’ve never really known what I’m doing or had a strategy. I’m glad I found this channel. Luckily I had Dooku already. Every time I use someone’s character and try to add them as an ally, they are inactive. I’m talking they haven’t played in over 1,000 days inactive. As someone who is 1 month into the game and just unlocked the ships aspect of the game. I'd really love you to do a video going into each and every character and ship that someone in the first 3 months should be working on or looking at. I'm leveling my Phoenix squad along nicely and have opened Thrawn and Palp to level 5. Now with ships opening up, I can see so many places to spend a little here and there but am not sure where to step. Ships go in such a different direction than everything I have been building, it's crazy. Now that I just got Zeb to 7 stars, I'm going to use those resources for Cad just for the heist. I'm trusting blindly on that.

Awesome and informative video! The only thing I would highlight would be that starter guilds automatically put you into the next tier, mid raid. If your guild is taking a while to knock out the rancor, you could invest hours in a week and then before payout get moved to the next tier and not get any reward tokens. Just thought it was worth adding Grand Admiral!

In 2017 and 2018 you could actually freeze yourself at lv22-lv27 so you can participate the raids without being assigned to an arena shard. After a few months you can enter the arena with Han solo and GK already unlocked. Now this route is blocked too. You pretty much MUST buy the hyperdrive bundle

I would say to hoard crystals. Save them up to by the Fleet Data Pack, and the Light and Dark side Chromium Mega-Packs. They give a better return, dont waste crystals on the smaller packs. Various energies refresh over time, as well receiving extra energy with a level bump. Character nodes have max play limits on them, there is only so far you can get. Where if you save up for the large packs, you can make larger advancements with starring characters and getting characters you might not have access to on the tables.

I've been playing f2p from the start(almost 2 years ago). I have indeed bought some crystals here and there. Under $50 in total, this was before journey guide and I had to rush some characters to get them to 7 stars and I was close enought to rush and get them before the event ends and I had to wait for 3+ months for the event to come by again. I share the sense of accomplishment when getting a character. When I got Palp, Yoda, r2 and thrawn, and more recently Padme, I really felt good and I already feel good in my preparations to get Darth Revan in the very near future ( Waaaaay behind current meta, luckily Padme and DR is still relevant though). I'm still far behind everyone that buys packs monthly or buys character packs when they first get released with my 1.2M GP, but I'm at least maintaining arena under 500, rarely 200 and I have 1 relic 3.... yeah.... just the one. I have joined a guild with a 150M GP, we are pretty close although we are thousands of kilometers apart. This really helps the most in getting somewhere with this game. Tips and tricks regularly shared between the bunch of us. It helps. Good luck with your endeavours.

Ahnald: "Get to 1000 in Arena, it's not that hard." Me, after playing for ~2 years f2p: Is lucky to break 2500, only now, because my G8 Empire can sometimes punch above their power level (if it's not throwing G13 and Relics at me). Arena is one of those places you've mentioned where, unfortunately, Phoenix falls over. There are just too many teams that can easily beat them, and mirror matches are a pain unless yours are significantly stronger. Probably part of my problem though is that I didn't start focusing Phoenix right away. I didn't find out about any kind of strategy until a couple/few months later. The gear bottleneck has also significantly stalled my progress. Speaking of Phoenix, one thing you keep omitting when talking about the tried and true beginner path in these videos is that Phoenix also gives you a decent start in ships. A lot of the characters in the strategy you're trying here don't even have a ship, which is going to mean more tertiary grinding later on to make any progress there. Lastly, I really wish they spelled out what the beginner guilds actually do for you, or just automatically placed you in one. I'm one of "those" players that just made their own for the achievement, and with only me in it, and now also my friend, I've made very little progress there.

How you said about a hyperdrive bundle account in your last video, you should buy a hoard account then get to level 28 when a new shard opens, then buy hyperdrive bundle to show how broken it is at the beginning

BTW: If you pay for the Hyper-drive bundle, Chewbacca is a priority for rebels. I would focus characters who are rare in the guild store who don't show anywhere else. Ex: Logray (C3PO) and Dengar (Chewbacca) are main ones, but others would be B2, Jyn, or Zam are uncommon too. BTW Dengar is my recommendation on someone you should farm always. Gear should be fair to by splitting your currency to gear up and hero shards.

I think the faster you can get revans + malak up and running the better. They will help you dominate in arena and GAC which is lots of resources. I dont have them and it's prevented me from climbing in arena and doing well in GAC. Working towards them, but I've lost out on a ton of rewards for not having them.

The one thing going after Phoenix early does is sllows you to get Thrawn fairly early (and we all know how good he is). But yeah, the Seps seem to be a decent option.

I'll race you to GAS. I started with the Phoenix Sqaud tree and only 3 months deep with the Hyper drive bundle. I haven't got CLS quite yet. I have less than half the characters needed for GAS. I'm finishing Jedi Training before moving onto it.

It Requires Executrix 5* + 6 ships 5* > Executrix 5* requires five 4-star dark side ships... New player MUST know that unlocking this challenge ASAP is very very important.

I am a really casual player and I am occasionally active and occasionally inactive. I originally went the Phoenix route, but I am thinking that I may switch to the Separatists because the Geonosians are real nasty team to fight. In pvp, they run me over and Geonosians are not too difficult to farm. Several of them are available for farming early on, but I never farmed them because when I started, the 5 geonosian team didn't exist and they didn't have the swarm ability. That swarm ability makes it hard to beat them since they get so many extra attacks.

So, I first started some time after jkr was released. A couple months ago I decided to start a second account(completely f2p, even tho I've only spent $15 on main lol). The second account I wanted teams I hadn't gotten on my main. So I started with 5* Phoenix like normal, but then went to NS, into Geos(just recently finished 7* Alpha) and am now working on Padme! I have gotten 7* Padme, JKA, Yoda, Ahsoka and 5* GK. Got both zetas on Padme and the 1 for Ahsoka so far. :)
